Rachael Peterson: I have been bringing my animals to Barney and Russum for 7 years. After the clinic sold, I was informed that Dr. Mack moved to a different clinic. I decided to follow Dr. Mack and made a call to request my records from Barney and Russum. The records I received only showed receipts, medications prescribed, and vaccine history. I called back after noticing this and asked for lab work, X-rays, and write ups from past appointments and surgeries. The first receptionist I spoke with said they did not have any of those records. I called again later that day. I spoke with a different receptionist. She said they did have lab work and X-rays, but did not have any appointment or surgery write ups. I asked if she could please send me what ever they had and also to have the practice manager calls me regarding the missing records. I never received a call from a manager or the records. I called again the next day, a technician answered the phone. I asked her if she could send the records. She said she was just a tech and she would have a receptionist send the records by end of business day. I still did not receive the records. Two days later my mom went into the clinic to see if she could get her pet’s and my pet’s lab work and x-rays sent over to us. She was finally able to speak with the practice manager. The manager sent over the lab work and X-rays. The manager told my mom that they did not have any appointment or surgery notes from our pets and that there is no way to get them. Absolutely ridiculous. I now have zero notes of I am to go to a different vet that has never seen my pets before. Extremely unprofessional. If you decided to take your pets to a different vet and that clinic needs full records for preexisting conditions, I hope you have better luck getting complete records….

Holly Aviles: I went in for a finger laceration and waited 2.5 hours, I asked how much longer it would be and was told a long wait. I was extremely patient. It literally would’ve taken 15 mins max for my visit. It was bad enough to go in and get it checked but probably wouldn’t even require stitches. A lot of patients were discharged but only one went into get care in the 2.5 hours that I was there. I decided to sleep and go to Santa Rosa tomorrow. I had to go back home and try to take care of myself. I left with a throbbing and bleeding finger, that had been bleeding for 6-7 hours almost nonstop. Terrible, terrible service. SR Memorial has much faster and professional service. Too bad, because I was even born at PV hospital. Never going back unless I’m dying… and it is literally one stoplight away from my house. That’s how pathetic it was. I will say that the registration lady was fine and the triage nurse was mostly okay. The security guard was cursing right next to a bunch of patients. Unprofessional. Seriously, get it all the way together PVH.

Vincent Tracey: I went in with chest paint and spent 6 hours there and never even got to see a doctor. Ridiculous!!! The nurses are rude, I asked for an ibuprofen for a headache while waiting told the lady Tylenol doesn’t work on me and they proceeded to hand me Tylenol anyway then got annoyed when I said that not what I asked for. The place cleared out while I was there and never even got to see the doctor. I just got up and left. They had me waiting around for so long because they didn’t have a radiologist on site to review my chest X-rays. What do you mean the emergency room doesn’t have a radiologist they had to send them out and let hours go by without saying a damn thing!!!

Matilde Hernandez: If you need an emergency room, do not come here! You will get more sick in the waiting watching other people die! This place is disgusting, poor training, not professional, dirty floors bathrooms and always packed! Staff needs more training, empathy and compassion.

FB: Very very very rude people. After 10 years of being patient here each time they are having attitude and answering very rudely and they are not even helping with anything. Beside Dr. Payanes all the other people especially receptionist women are very impatient and rude. Each time we see new people at the front desk and we are hopping they will be better but they are even more rude. Its not acceptable at all they need to leave this job if they wanna be like this rude and useless.
