1 /5 Holly Aviles: I went in for a finger laceration and waited 2.5 hours, I asked how much longer it would be and was told a long wait. I was extremely patient. It literally would’ve taken 15 mins max for my visit. It was bad enough to go in and get it checked but probably wouldn’t even require stitches. A lot of patients were discharged but only one went into get care in the 2.5 hours that I was there. I decided to sleep and go to Santa Rosa tomorrow. I had to go back home and try to take care of myself. I left with a throbbing and bleeding finger, that had been bleeding for 6-7 hours almost nonstop. Terrible, terrible service. SR Memorial has much faster and professional service. Too bad, because I was even born at PV hospital. Never going back unless I’m dying… and it is literally one stoplight away from my house. That’s how pathetic it was. I will say that the registration lady was fine and the triage nurse was mostly okay. The security guard was cursing right next to a bunch of patients. Unprofessional. Seriously, get it all the way together PVH.

5 /5 Jaz C: Surprised at the reviews. Everyone from the security guard, receptionist, nurse and doctor was very polite and friendly. They are brisk but they are also trying to get through so many patients so you just need to spare empathy. I was in and out after 3 hours.

1 /5 Rachel: Im aghast with the care we received here. Im not going to post full details so as to remain anonymous, but weve gotten better care in 3rd world countries. From the PA to the nursing staff, employees were rude, condescending, and lacking the knowledge and experience needed to work in an ER. Bedside manner was terrible, staff didnt explain reasons for exams or labs. The equipment is faulty, and we were told theres only one vital signs machine for the whole ER. How is that even possible??! This place is a dumpster fire. Avoid at all costs. Worth it to drive to Memorial and get quality care.

1 /5 Emily Vazquez: Tried to re schedule a biopsy appt dont even bother speaking to Miguel! He is rude and didnt want me to re schedule. He always says he only has 9 am which is BS because he knows i cant make it in at that time. I called again another lady answered. I explained how miguel was rude she hung up on me. Called back and guess who answered? Miguel! He is not professional at all. I at least called to re schedule i dont see why that bothers him. All he had to do was reschedule one appt for me

1 /5 Garden Nomad: Very callous and rude employees in the ER. multiple separate bills after a single visit feels very "scammy". Absolutely no answers to whether or not they can help with your specific problem until after registering at ER (which incurs a heafty charge). Security guards making fun of a homeless person coming in for a medical emergency. In the future, I will go to Sutter in Santa Rosa for ER services if physically able to drive during medical emergency.
