1 /5 Chelsea Davey: I called Northbay to schedule my first appointment when I was 6 weeks pregnant. They told me that I had to come in for an “orientation” first. This is where they gave me lab slips and booked my ultrasound and OB appointment. Red flag #1 was when they said that the NT ultrasound is done in Sacramento area, and they don’t have openings. Red flag #2 - I showed up for my appointment with Dr. Snow today at 10 1/2 weeks, and she refused to see me. The orientation lady scheduled my ultrasound for two days after the appointment with Dr. Snow. Apparently she will not see you without labs or ultrasound. I needed a women’s wellness exam, flu shot, and prescription for prenatals. I’ve also been vomiting for 5 weeks. It’s sad she wouldn’t even see me to discuss my concerns. Instead I was just offered an appointment in three weeks. I’ve had a miscarriage in the past and do not feel comfortable waiting until 2nd trimester to see a doctor. My husband is a surgeon, and I’ve worked for a physician for 5 years. I’ve never seen such bad communication in an office or been refused to be seen for a wellness exam. I would not recommend her or northbay if you are looking for quality patient care.
I’m not sure why it says MD, because she is not a medical doctor. A DO is not the same as an MD!
