Scripps Clinic Del Mar - San Diego (CA)

1 /5 T Gomo: I am writing to express my frustration with the appointment scheduling process at Scripps Clinic Del Mar Weight Management. Back in July 2024, I booked an appointment, and the earliest available opening was in January 2025, nearly six months later. I have recently learned that my job will require me to be out of the country during that week. I called to reschedule, but I was told there were no available appointments unless I switched to a different doctor. The next available opening with that option would be in June 2025, which is a full 12 months after my original booking. This situation is incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. Given the long wait times, I am concerned about the ability to receive timely follow-up care, especially if further appointments or treatments are required. I cant help but feel that this delay is not only unreasonable but could be detrimental to a patients health and well-being.

5 /5 Bobby Koch: Wow, the best experience I have EVER had at a doctors office. From the front desk staff to medical assistant (Lorenzo) and my doctor (Dr. Crane), the lady who gave me a tetanus shot, and the lab tech, everyone asked me about me, really spent time, and made me feel great after leaving. I cannot recommend this practice enough, at least through Dr Crane. Id give this place 6 stars if I could.

1 /5 Sara Rodriguez: This is by far, the worst medical clinic I have ever experience. For them is all about the money. Their website is terrible, it does not allow for refill request or even ask specific questions to your doctor. They want you to pay a visit so they can charge you. Their admin is the worst, it took me several months, messages and calls for them to get my medical records. Very poor communication and follow up with patients.

1 /5 Jack & Judy Scholle: Theyre booked, so who cares if they cancel your 8am appointment with a 7:15 am voice message. Most peoples phones are off at that time. Mine was. At 8am I get the receptionist call as Im walking in to the office, Only to be rescheduled for 3 weeks later, Then they list the appointment in the portal as a patient cancelation. Go somewhere else. I was supposed to see Souraya Lorenz. Good luck. The Scripps doctors are good the employees are nice, but the operations, management, and portal are all pretty lame. Unfortunately my doctor is in the Scripps system, and shes special. So Im stuck. But my advice is to check out another Audiologist. It cost me almost 2 hours in traffic and rescheduling my morning. Yes, inconvenient and p--p happens, but all too typical of scripps. My fault, I should have known better.

1 /5 John Larson: Seriously the doctors at this clinic retired in place 5 years ago. My spouse told the doctor 2 years ago the meds were not effective. When asked a simple question regarding the half life of their medications given the decision to get off them, they were redirected to a pharmacist. My kid in high school chemistry could have supplied a better answer. Being in the care of a "could care less" physician is worse than not going at all.....
