1 /5 Sandra Graciano: I am here @ San Ysidro Chula Vista Office for a Doctors Appointment and waiting to Check In and Patricia and Debbie not sure if thats there name there are sitting at 12:59pm on this date 05 22 24 are very Rude and Unprofessional have an Bad Attitude they should have more Class in there profession. The man with Goldilocks is ok. The minute I came in had an attitude from Patricia then I waiting for Debbie and all Rude she said wait for a minute.. Hopefully they get better Staff and more Professional.

1 /5 Marcela Fonseca: If you are pregnant & high risk avoid Dr.Short and this clinic at all costs. There are other employees who are great people but my experience outweighs the whole clinic for the neglect they showed me. I gave birth April 10th and Dr. short canceled my postpartum visit twice. Now the clinic can’t see me because I’m past 8 week post partum so I guess I’ll never receive clearance from a doctor. On top of that I was forced to see Dr.short throughout my pregnancy even after I mentioned he made me feel uncomfortable. He made I necessary comments about my body as a women. When I expressed this over the phone the receptionist said tell your “health case worker” I was ignored. Then at. My appt I requested to make a change in person and the nurse said “well I see him, & he’s never made me uncomfortable”. completely invalidated my feelings. I’m just very upset that certain staff and Dr.short have treated me like another number and not an actual person.

5 /5 M S: This is the best Urgen Care in San Diego and Chula Vista. The Service is very good, the doctors are Awesome, they really care about the patients health. I have came a lot of times and they always have took care of my Health very good. Dr. Nicholas Whtley is amazing, Dr. Maggy and all the personal is very friendly.

My appointments are always given to me in a timely manner , even when I have to take my kid in for whatever reason Ive never had an issue getting an appointment for a same day visit. Dr Santiago is amazing , shes always attentive and redirects us to specialist if need to immediately. If theres any lab results she makes sure to give you a call back quickly Im extremely amazed by the efficiency. My kid and I we love her, she truly seems to love her job, she hears you out, shes patient and caring, she always makes sure our questions are answered.

Isabel Marquez Ramirez: Doctors are great. Very professional. Most of the time staff is good. But today I didn’t appreciate the lack of professionalism from the receptionist. I believe her name is Arianna or Ari something like that. First of all, I checked the website and I called to make sure they opened at 8:00am. The first worker arrived at 7:57am. My son and I were waiting outside. We were let in at about 8:10 or so. The worker was polite. When the receptionist got there which her name was Arianna or Ari she asked me who let us in or if I just came in because they didn’t open until 8:45am. I said that the other worker let us in. Then she said that I had to wait because they didn’t open until 8:45. Then, once she called me to ask me why I was there she said she would verify my insurance. She called me again and said that my son couldn’t be seen there that he was assigned to Sharp. I said no, i have always brought him here for almost 18 years now. She rudely and almost talking over me said that that was what the computer was showing. I then said “maybe you’re confusing him with my husband since they have the same name.” I was trying to show my son’s insurance card, but she wouldn’t even look up. She went back to check and of course she was able to verify that he could be seen there. Never did she apologize. I mean i know it must be unpleasant to work on a Saturday morning, but she is supposed to have great customer service. Very dissatisfied with her lack of manners and professionalism. Other than that, the nurse assistant and doctor were great.

Kimberley Terry: Doctor Cristina Deis is one of the best doctors I’ve ever received care from and I cannot say enough great things about her She cared for me while I was pregnant as well as postpartum she listened to any concerns I had as a first time mother & she genuinely wanted to make sure I was okay and understood everything I felt so safe & cared for That I made her my baby’s primary care provider And that was the best decision! my husband & I absolutely adore doctor Deis she takes excellent care of our baby & we’ve always looked forward to our visits with her my momma heart is sad that we are relocating to another state and have to find a new provider I can only hope they love their job as much as she does and cares for their patients like her. Thank you doctor Deis!

Em Squared: I called to schedule a first appt with Dr. Newmark and was transferred to “Intake Dept” where I waited on hold 10 mins. I finally got “Michelle,” who talked a mile a minute and I couldn’t understand her. I told her I was a bit hard of hearing and that I’d record this to transcribe later but could she please speak louder and repeat herself? She spoke louder but again, too fast for me to catch. I apologized profusely and said I was embarrassed but had to ask her again to kindly slow down. She got irritated and short and gave up on her scripted speech and said loudly that they needed a credit or debit card on file and would charge (1st it was $50, then she said $60), plus any co-pay, for appts xxld less than one business day. She asked for my name and was still clearly irritated and I gave it to her and apologized again for irritating her but she said she wasn’t irritated, however her tone and shortness w/me clearly indicated she was. I started getting really upset/teary and told her I’d need to call back but I don’t plan to. It was hard enough for me to get the nerve to call this time.

The clinic does not answer phone calls and requires a voicemail to receive a call back which seems to delay care. Has potential to be great, but lacks fundamentals.

Charli Carmichael: I waited a month and a half for my appointment after waiting another 2 weeks for them to get my referral. My apt was on Halloween so I had tons of prep to do at work for a huge party and had to be to work at 9am. When we finally scheduled both procedures at 7:00 I was overjoyed but the scheduler was completely aware and worked around my availability When I got there at 6:48am and was there prepped with their special fasting/ drinking 32oz water instructions, I was informed that someone moved my hour long appointment to 8:30am and I had no choice but to cancel it once I arrived since I had to be to work. I literally have 4 doctors appointments in November waiting on results from this appointment. The lady at the counter was not helpful or accommodating simply stating "I cant tell you why the appointment was moved." She didnt care. I know it was moved because the scheduler specifically choose Halloween against my preference because it had a 7am appt available which would allow me time for both procedures and to get to work by 9. I have it in my calendar. Never got any confirmations and this place is impossible to get ahold of someone who knows how to even schedule an appointment. What a waste of time...Choose a different place. Had I looked at the reviews at the beginning I might not be in this situation. Its sad that this healthcare place makes you choose between making a living and taking care of your health.
