5 /5 sara c: We took our precious dog to another hospital yesterday to get an operation done for a pyometra (as suggested by another vet that did her general checkup) and were told that she was doing terribly and could crash at any moment. The doctor told us she would be unable to perform the surgery due to her severe anemia and told us she recommended euthanasia. We were mortified at this news and asked if there was anything else we could do for our poor, sweet girl. She replied the only other option would be a blood transfusion that could cost thousands of dollars but we disregarded that fact and focused on saving our dog. After making several calls asking if any emergency hospitals in our area could do this for her we found SAGE and they told us to bring her in to see what they could do after hearing the situation from the doctor. Everything went well and they were able to save our baby from the worst. We are so incredibly thankful to all the friendly and hardworking staff that were able to make this miracle possible for her. We 100% recommend SAGE to everyone, they can rest assured that their dog will be cared for and well taken care of here.

5 /5 Christian Wright: This is the second time I’ve had to visit Sage and both times they have done an outstanding job. This visit came 4 days after a terrible experience with VCA San Carlos. My dog was in terrible condition and they have brought the life back into her eyes while keeping me updated and allowing me to visit my tiny baby. She stayed overnight for a couple of nights and the entire staff has been amazing throughout the entire process. They’ve answered all my questions and done a thorough job on my little Lady’s bloodwork.

5 /5 Mary Murphy: We had the absolute best care at Sage from start to finish for such an unfortunate event. My dog exhibited signs of IVDD/ruptured disc as her hind legs started to drag and she lost control of her bladder/bowel functions. We took her to Sage under the advisement of our vet and were seen immediately for an ultimate emergency spinal surgery to remove the ruptured disc particles that were impacting her spine/neuro functions. The entire staff was wonderful from intake, updates, medical forms & financial overviews, discharge and post-op care. The front desk staff, vet techs, nurses, and surgeons were amazing! We cannot thank them enough for taking care of our sweet, anxious Mabel and getting her on the road to recovery. They all deserve to be showered with love & raises for the selfless work they do day in and day out in such a stressful, thankless environment. 1000/10 recommend Sage to any and everyone with any pet emergencies. Hoping we don’t have to return for a very long time, but if we do, we know right where to go!
