Was driving through Crescent City when my engine misfired and nobody else in town was willing to help me out on short notice. These guys dropped what they were working on and had me in and out in an hour and a half. I cannot recommend them enough! Car is running great and got us the 1500 miles back home.

I call him up, he was waiting on some other customers to bring their vehicles in and he said if you come on down right now, I will fix you up. And he did at a very reasonable rate. he can’t help it that he looks like he came out of Willy Wonka, chocolate factory, and his helper from Smurf town but they are the best! 5 /5 Bobby Kramer: I’m so grateful for Robertson’s Automotive. I was in a bind. I woke up at my campsite with a puddle underneath my vintage VW Bus. I realize it was dripping from a fuel hose. I went to Robertson’s and even though they were very busy and they do not work on vintage VW buses. He put it up on the rack and he fixed the leak until I could get all the fuel hoses replaced permanently. Did this for minimum cost and got me on the road right away so grateful, great place!

Zeb Ledbetter: Had my car painted and damage repaired on left side, took over a month the first time. Got it back with clouds all over the car from polishing and runs on the hood from the paint job they did. Took it back the second time because they had to re shoot the hood and polish again. When i got it back it had a bubble on the hood. Then I take it back to get decals put on and the next day they are peeling off along with one that got riped so they over layed it. I do not recommend them in anyway shape or form to anyone. They will also say they will call you back over and over again with no updates. I will have the work done elsewhere and never go back. Everyone I know from here to Brookings OR will know as well.

Johnathan Bagley: Wouldn’t make the time to help me with my truck during the wildfire that was near there town. Told me they were too busy to take 3 bolts out, found another shop that was just as busy but took 15 min to get the bolts out and me on my way to help with the fire. Wouldn’t recommend them if you have a simple job and a handful of cash they are too busy.

felita Vizcarra: My vans battery icon lit up when we arrived here in Lake Tahoe last Saturday..... it disappeared after awhile, but the next day it lit up again. Since we were driving back to Los Angeles today (Monday), I called AAA to check the battery.... and it was diagnosed as problem with the alternator. I called Lake Tahoe Automotive, and they told me to bring the van in. They even ordered the alternator right away prior to my arrival to facilitate the repair. When I got to the shop, they finished the repair in less than an hour. They were so efficient and nice, very good customer service! And the price is paid for the repair was fair enough. Highly recommended!

Liana Young: I had the best experience here. I had the low tire pressure light come on while driving on Highway 89 toward South Lake. Because my tire had recently been patched for a nail, I wanted to get it checked by professionals before continuing my road trip. I looked online and saw a good review for Five Star. When I arrived, the kind couple immediately said one of their mechanics could take a look. Bob, one of the most helpful people I have run into in awhile, checked all of my tires. Not only did he remedy the problem, but he shared valuable knowledge on how to deal with tires in general! I left with such gratitude to him and the whole staff for helping me feel safe to get back on my journey. They all felt like angels to me. I would recommend Five Star Automotive next time you’re in South Lake.

Julio Lombera: I went to Lake tahoe on business stayed 3 nights on our last day there. my check engine light came on.we went to OReilly to get a diagnostic check they said we should get the car checked out by a mechanic before heading home since we had a 7 and a half hour drive.we drove to 3 shops and they did not want to help us everyone said we needed and appointment. We went to norms as our last resort to see if they could help.we were giving up hope but thank God that the lady that was there and the mechanic helped us out and explained that I had nothing to worry about with the check engine light it would be ok to drive home. What I am trying to say is that if u are ever in lake tahoe and need an honest and trustworthy mechanic please dont wate your time going anywhere else go to norms they are amazing people.
