They came, fiddled around for hours, couldnt identify the issue, and at one point exacerbated or broke something which then took more time to get back to square one.
They never diagnosed the problem, didnt fix it, and sent us to someone else. After a small discount we ended up paying $550 to be in the same position we started with.
When we took it to the next mechanic, they saw a broken piece of plumbing leading into the turbo system in 30 seconds. I get that people make mistakes, but this didnt seem like a reasonable one, and I cant imagine charging someone $500 for work that resulted in no benefit when another mechanic found the problem in under a minute.
