1 /5 Rafael Souza: I had an appointment scheduled and my medical approval was pending and when it was approved I informed them that I would call to give them the card number to compensate for the consultation fee. They informed me that I didnt need to call and they would send a message with the number so I I did so, the message was not seen and the charge was made and now they say they do not accept my insurance coverage! Because the message wasnt seen, I went to the appointment and thought everything was fine when in fact it wasnt! because if the message had been seen, I believe they would have informed me that my insurance was not accepted and I would not have gone to the appointment!

5 /5 Linda: The sleep clinic experience was challenging because I had considerable difficulty falling asleep. Nevertheless the technician was very flexible and able to collect enough data to make a diagnosis, My appointments (initial and follow up) with Dr. Lim were highly satisfactory and informative. She has also been very accessible via email.

1 /5 Kyle Rudy: If you elect to visit this clinic, insist on acquiring your own CPAP machine or on using a local vendor. The doctor did a great job, but the clinic acquired a CPAP machine from Apria Healthcare on my behalf, without offering any alternatives. This vendor has been an absolute nightmare, and sullies Redwood Pulmonary Medical Associates by association. The date when the machine rental converts to sale keeps getting pushed back, and their billing department once called me every ten to fifteen minutes for hours due to a glitch in their phone systems. They will charge you whatever their system feels like charging on any given month with no prior notice, all without ever bothering to get your signature on any agreements. After ten hours on the phone over the past year, no one at Apria seems to know how much I supposedly owe them or when the monthly charges will end. If I could go back in time, I would prevent myself from ever visiting the doctor or getting a sleep study done. The cure is far worse than the disease.

5 /5 Renu Khosla: I have been consulting with Dr Melissa Lim for 5 years on pulmonary and sleep issues. She has provided me with excellent advice and prescribed the drugs that have proven to help me. She patiently listens to the health issues, checks the lungs and then advises both verbally and in writing so that she is fully well understood. When prescribing an inhaler she asks me to use the inhaler in her presence so that she can guide me on using it correctly. I have full confidence in her advice and will continue to consult her for many more years.

I spent an hour talking with her on the phone and it was obvious she understands the importance of providing care where it is needed. To meet that end, she has chosen Smart House Calls telemedicine so, regardless of where patients are located, patients can get the expert care they need when they need it.
