Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital - Los Angeles
Christina Orozco: I’m giving three stars because of a nurse practitioner in dermatology who used the excuse “the rooms are too small, only one person” to accommodate my daughter and I in the room with my husband during the dermatologist visit that we wanted over 1 month for! I spoke to a very nice lady who made it possible for my daughter and I to be in the room during the visit. Bedside manners are important. And taking the time to make sure your patient is comfortable only takes a few seconds. I am extremely grateful for the employee who fought for us. Thank you.

Kindred Hospital Los Angeles - Los Angeles
Amanda Posey: My husband came to them on a breathing machine in a sleeping state after spending 3weeks in the ICU in Bakersfield. He was in a motorcycle accident that caused all injury to his brain. He was dead on the scene and brought back by bystanders and the ICU staff said he was brain dead and would never be the same. Then he was transferred to Kindred hospital in Los Angeles. That was on a Friday I came up for the first time that Sunday and walked into his room he was awake and trying to speak to me. And before I left that day he spoke to me and said he loved me and he gave me a kiss. Which is 2 of the three things I had been told he would never do again because of his trauma and I juryies to the brain. Since then my husband has improved so much. He is no longer on any kind of machine he is able to breathe on his own walk on his own and most of all talk and eat for sure. I dont think the hospital would be able to feed anyone if they allowed him to go to the kitchen cause he would eat everything. If u have a loved one who needs long term care for any reason I highly recommend Kindred Hospital for you. Everyone is attentive, and go way beyond their duties to make sure the patient is improving. And as for the family I always knew what was being done to him or what was given to him I met the entire team of doctors case managers and nurses my first days here visiting. And due to me not being able to afford a hotel room when I come to visit I was allowed to sleep in my van on the property and security kept a look over me. In the morning I was allowed to come into the lobby and freshen up for the day. No questions asked. So the staff here dont just care about the patients they care about the well being of family as well. I could never say or do anything to show how appreciated I am of this place and the staff and the teamwork they display daily. The integrity and the values and morals of each person is just astounding and admirable to say the least. I rate this place a 10 plus cause there really is no words to express how grateful I am that they have been apart of bringing my husband back to life again. The beautiful lady who sits in the lobby answering the phone during the week is just amazing with her patience and understanding of folks who are walking in stressed out and scared for a loved one she has a way and a voice that just makes u relax a little once she starts talking. And nurse Barbara who went out of her way to make sure my husband had cookies to snack on and ice cream as a special treat I love her down to earth attitude and helpful ways. And to the nurse who sat in the room and had to clean up his bed and him daily thank u. I realize that as my husband has improved he could really be a handful to deal with and to all the staff who didnt shut him up or mistreat him in anyways I thank u for treating my family as if we was your family during our stay here with you You guys are something to be admired and should all get some kind of bonus or something to show that you are awesome ... Sincerely the Johnson family

Huntington Hospital Emergency Room - Pasadena
Josh Lee: I am compelled to give an honest review. Recently had a visit at 4:30am for my 5 year old son who had severe stomach pain, was seen by Dr Libby, who showed no compassion or care, I know it’s an emergency room and there was no knife stcking out of my son’s head but please show some compassion. It doesn’t cost anything to say something simple as “hope you feel better” before leaving the room. I am giving two stars instead of one out of respect for the people who work overnight to provide service. But please, reflect on why you are in healthcare. Never going back to Huntington Hospital.

çŸ…ć•Š: Hate this place. Air pressure always feels like your working in a thunderstorm. You open a door and all the windows and ceiling tiles rumble in poor building management. Floors are caked with disgust and walls are riddled with mysterious stains. But who cares; its all about the money.

Hilda Severson: Dr. Ajilore has been my doctor for 12 years, and I can’t praise him enough. He is such an amazing, professional, caring, patient doctor who really listens to me and gives me the most outstanding care that a doctor could give any patient. He is truly one of a kind! Thank you, Dr. Ajilore, for all that you do and for Diane and Reyna, his fantastic staff!

D: If you’re looking for compassionate, reliable healthcare—look elsewhere. As a local mom of two with urgent health concerns, I called 11 other general practitioners before reaching out to this office, desperate to find someone accepting new patients. I was exhausted, hopeful, and relieved when they agreed to schedule me with a nurse practitioner (they refused to make appt with doctor). They asked me to submit forms but never mentioned a deadline or that my appointment would be canceled if they weren’t received on time. When my scanner failed, I sent photos instead. Then, just 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment—after arranging childcare and preparing to finally be seen—I received a message saying my appointment had been canceled and given to someone else. No warning, no attempt to work with me—just gone. I pleaded with the office manager, explaining my situation and asking for a doctor’s appointment, only to be repeatedly dismissed and told I could only see a nurse. This level of cold indifference, lack of communication, and disregard for a patient’s well-being is shocking. I cannot imagine how they treat long-term patients, let alone their own staff. If this is how they handle a new mother in need, affected by recent fires, and struggling to get care, I shudder to think what others experience. Do not waste your time here—your health deserves better.

Sharon: Love the physicians, but dislike the difficulty of booking appointments. Came to this office for a blood draw after fasting 10-12 hours. Blood results need to be ready 2 weeks prior to any physical for evaluation. The wait time to schedule an appointment over the phone took about 20-30 minutes and my doctors availability was 6-months out. The health facility has a small, private, and paid parking lot. I paid $5 when I came in 2022. Street parking is available as well, but it can be hard to find. The day of my visit (2/12/2024), one of the elevators wasnt working and I saw several people misunderstand the sign and walk up 8 flights of stairs. Its more of a building maintenance issue, but thought Id comment that here. Maria was my phlebotomist and she asked me to fill out some paperwork before my blood draw. The patient before me cancelled, so she took me in early. Im not a fan of needles in general, and joked saying "my veins are too small" and Maria played along and said "I cant get out of this one" because she has small needles. Shes hilarious, professional, calm, and excellent at her job. She can make anyone whos afraid of needles feel comfortable. Check-in reminders were sent to my email and texted to my phone. Bills, upcoming appointments, lab results, and early check-in are easy to track at My CS-Link. The scheduling for future appointments is my only drawback.

cheska c: In case of an emergency you will not be able to reach anybody. We left messages with the call service and no one returned our calls. The front desk biller,is also rude. My baby was in the process of getting a measured and she rudely interrupted our doctor visit to let us know she was not insured. And this was after we signed a paper saying we will be responsible to pay if the insurance did not.Its a shame when Dr. Mechanic is profesional and passionate about her job. Great doctors. But the front staff need to be on her level of professionalism..
