1 /5 D: If you’re looking for compassionate, reliable healthcare—look elsewhere. As a local mom of two with urgent health concerns, I called 11 other general practitioners before reaching out to this office, desperate to find someone accepting new patients. I was exhausted, hopeful, and relieved when they agreed to schedule me with a nurse practitioner (they refused to make appt with doctor). They asked me to submit forms but never mentioned a deadline or that my appointment would be canceled if they weren’t received on time. When my scanner failed, I sent photos instead. Then, just 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment—after arranging childcare and preparing to finally be seen—I received a message saying my appointment had been canceled and given to someone else. No warning, no attempt to work with me—just gone. I pleaded with the office manager, explaining my situation and asking for a doctor’s appointment, only to be repeatedly dismissed and told I could only see a nurse. This level of cold indifference, lack of communication, and disregard for a patient’s well-being is shocking. I cannot imagine how they treat long-term patients, let alone their own staff. If this is how they handle a new mother in need, affected by recent fires, and struggling to get care, I shudder to think what others experience. Do not waste your time here—your health deserves better.

1 /5 Deirdre Murphy: Try another facility. This facility is just dreadful. They almost never ever answer the phone. Wait lines are just horrible - I waited for 45 minutes on the phone one day and my message was never passed on to my NP. Very inefficient and I have not actually had a doctor at this office for over 6 years. I do appreciate my nurse practitioner though.

1 /5 Giselle Carrillo: I came in as a new patient. When I made my appointment I was clear in wanting to set up a physical and go over some concerns ive been having with my health. When making my appt the receptionist commented we can definitely discuss your health concerns. When I got to the office for my appt she stated that they dont do physicals on a first appt. I told her I was specific on my appt and i recall her commenting on my health concerns but she NEVER NOT ONCE mentioned they couldnt perform my physical. I have called in 4x now after waiting 10 min each time asking for an order which they still have yet to provide to me or the dept where im being recommended to be seen. I have worked in healthcare for 15+ years and this is not an acceptable way to handle patient care. Horrible first impression as a new patient. I will looking elsewhere. I will add my visit with the Dr. was nice and informative however due to the staff they have she will unfortunately loose me as a patient

3 /5 Kay: I really like coming here. Been seen by both Dr. Asher & Dr. Yam and they’re really caring and helpful. Last time I came here, the receptionist, Ashley was really rude. She kept demanding that I speak loud and I really couldn’t because I was sick & my throat was in pain (reason why I came to the doctor). She looked annoyed and I wish she was a bit more understanding about the type of patients that will come to the office. I’ve never had an issue here, unfortunately, I had a bad experience because of her.

2 /5 Christy Mo: After a couple months of carefully queuing into the list of new patients for Huntington Family Medicine, I was finally added to the list and began processing their center as my primary doctor. Once the paperwork was complete, I was told the first available appointment I could receive was in March— and that they needed a copy of my drivers license to move forward. Time passes, paperwork, holidays, and I thought I was all good. When I called to finally make an initial appointment, I was told they had lost a physician and would not be taking me on as a new patient. Communication about care at their offices is poorly managed and seems stressed beyond their capacity to manage effectively. I spent a lot precious time and energy trying to make something work— and it was not worth it.
