" they demonstrate the dont give a damn with a side of b.s. attitude." Billing - shes lazy and expects you to provide updated information and shes never pleasant and like to avoid you. Security guard likes to instigate and makes matters worse. Receptionist station... states "its not their job." Medical records lets just say its all who you are talking to to get some cooperation. The doctors depends on who you are working with have attitude. If there are issues involving your case and depends on who you are dealing with treat you less as a person... oh and the phones ring for 14 rings or more with an answer or without an answer.... yup!

Its clear that the staff genuinely cares about each person who walks through the door. They go above and beyond to accommodate schedules and get you in for appointments as promptly as possible. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to others. The receptionists are exceptional—friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist!

But, the office itself needs to be brought into the 21st century.
They dont have a website, or a MyChart option for patients to see their visit summaries, schedule new appts, or email their doctors.
They also dont have an advice nurse on staff.
And if your pharmacy sends a renewal request for your meds? They go weeks without responding.
YOU have to call and tell them that the renewal has been sent to their system.
MFA Medical Group - Merced sitruc koom: I always have a positive experience at MFA North. The gals at the front desk are the best. Dr. Ray Cervantes is great. I truly feel as though I’m receiving quality care. He’s positive, concerned, and understanding. He knows what he’s doing AND is able to explain everything so I understand. Two of the best things about Dr. Cervantes: he listens without judgment or interruption; he does not make arbitrary decisions or diagnoses. If you’re looking for care, give MFA North a try.
GOLDEN STATE Urgent CARE - Merced Anel Vega-Ramos: Dr. Gurpreet Singh at Golden State Care is an incredible primary care physician. He truly listens and takes the time to understand concerns to provide the best diagnosis and care. Not only has he been great for my own health needs, but he has also stepped in to help when I couldn’t get my kids to their primary care doctor. The staff is equally amazing. Always understanding, helpful, and ready to assist with anything needed. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for the care and support they provide. Highly recommend!
University Surgery Center - Merced Jamie Ziegenfuss: ZERO STARS if I could. Avoid this place if you dont want surprised billing! Business manager enjoys her power to much and refused to adjust billing to the correct coding for my procedure even after my doctor acknowledged his mistake.
Business manager told me over the phone is was insurance fraud if the coding was changed, but my insurance company confirmed with me that it can be changed without issue. This woman just refused to do it!! I do NOT recommend this place, take your health care another facility.
