04-2025 Dr. Heather Goodspeed in Best 14 MEDICAL SERVICES near Nevada City, CA (Part 2)Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital - Auburn Holly: I went to the ER in the middle of the night this weekend with severe low back pain and some neuro changes in my lower half. I wanted to say that the nursing staff was top notch. Mary, the night shift nurse was gentle and caring, as well as competent skill-wise. Kelly came to do my MRI checklist and was so nice to talk to. And Rich on day shift was awesome. He made sure I got the MRI I needed, and that I was well medicated for it. The MRI tech, I believe her name was also Kelly, was very good. She noticed a discrepancy from my outpatient to inpatient orders, and made sure it was resolved. I went in to the ER very scared, and in a tremendous amount of pain. I left feeling a bit better, and with the diagnostics to actually be able to get further help as an outpatient. Thank you Auburn Faith ER and radiology. You are all a class act.
Grover C. Dils Medical Center - Caliente Leo Breau: Please read! A friend of mine, a very sweet, hard-working Hispanic lady, lives in Caliente. She went to the hospital emergency. She’s getting me the doctors name today. A doctor came in asked her where it hurt. She told him. He gave her some medicine, and sent her on her way. She said she looked at her watch and the total was 10 minutes. She received a bill for $8000! Yes, you read $8000!! there were no tests done, no x-rays, no bandages, nothing.
She called the hospital to dispute it and they told her too bad. Clearly, this is a case of ripping off a Hispanic lady because they can get away with it. This hospital is garbage and so are the staff. The doctor should be ashamed of himself because he too is garbage, terrible human. I will leave a review for him personally when I get his name later today.
Mercy San Juan Medical Center - Carmichael Diamond Duperron: The staff is always helpful and quick, especially when you’re in a lot of pain. They are very friendly they like to laugh with you. It’s a very great staff and they don’t leave you hanging like Kaiser or UC Davis. They make sure you’re comfortable and that you’re seen as soon as possible every time I go there I don’t have to wait long And I like that and they don’t judge you because of your lifestyle or anything like that they treat you as if you were family and they are there for you not because they have to be, but because they want to be.
Radius Physical Sports Rehab - Nevada City Steve Castleberry: Visited Radius for a sore back. They treated it with a combination of massage, stretching, and rehab exercises, which have worked well. They did a thorough initial assessment and I feel they developed a treatment to address my specific issues, rather than doing what they do for everyone. I like how they have an app that allows me to track my exercises (not everyone might like it, but it’s really effective for me). They are very encouraging and positive about the exercises and stretching, which keeps me doing that stuff regularly.
Kaiser Permanente Orange County - Anaheim Medical Center - Anaheim Paul R: From entering into the er to the hospital to discharge everyone was very helpful and clearly explained everything to me as I went through the process, which really made me feel safe and cared for. All the doctors, techs, nurses, house cleaning, food, everyone was super kind and helpful. Thank you so much for taking great care of me big smiles! Oh I forgot to mention everything was nice and clean too.
Orange County Primary Care Medical Center - Anaheim Chris: EDIT 1/4/24: This company does not answer their phones, at all. I had an appointment last week but they called me, 20 minutes before our time, and cancelled. I have called multiple times and they do not answer. I even called the number for doctors and hospitals, that went to a google voicemail. Evelyn is great but the only way to make an appointment is to go in person, and theyre closed from 12-2pm. Argh!
You dont want to be here, trust me. Evelyn is their only redeeming quality and who knows how much longer shell be there. Problems with records, prescriptions, even their phones are dead half the time. Lot of turnover, waiting room looks worse than the dmv. I could go on, but you get the idea.
