5 /5 Jody Sypher: Dr. Aoun and staff are absolutely wonderful. (I should have written this sooner). Guess I felt like my little “best kept secret” should remain my secret. But he has been such an exceptional medical professional to deal with, its only fair that I share my experience. First you work with his office staff to schedule appointments. Very nice, quick to respond and professional. Can’t ask for more. Then meeting with Dr. Aoun solidifies the professionalism and consideration you receive. He really digs in and asks questions, listens, spends time with you and offers ideas and solutions. He is not judgmental or pushy. He always takes the time to go over all the details. You feel like you have the best of both worlds…..a seasoned medical professional and a realistic guy who understands that not everyone has the same needs or the same opinion. I always feel like I can be honest and get an honest response or advise. I trust him completely. Kudos Doc!! I appreciate you!

I feel Im in good hands with him. His staff is exceptionally helpful and compassionate. They go above and beyond to help me coordinate my appointments and any other needs.

Jacob Lara: The physicians are pretty good. I prefer some over others, but the front office staff are awful. They never send in appropriate amounts of information to get referrals, prior authorizations, and medications. They claim they do stuff but when you talk to the insurance company they have no records of it happening. It is a regular occurrence across multiple insurances so I am inclined to believe it is the office staff. If this wasnt on par with the rest of the medical professionals unprofessional attitudes and business operations across the high desert I would have searched for another doctor. So they are the best of the bottom of the barrel.

Gabriela Rios: dr. guevarra is definitely one of the worst doctors I have ever had. she will dismiss every single concern you have about your health and she always cuts you off when you speak. when I was a teenager, I went for my yearly physical and during the appointment I had asked for a referral to see a mental health professional. she refused to because it is a ‘normal’ teenage thing. she also refused to give me yearly mri scans (brain problems run in the family so it is a huge concern for me) because i’m ‘too young’ to have anything seriously wrong with me. I don’t understand why she is in the medical field if she really doesn’t care to listen to his patients. the other doctor on the other hand, is amazing. I always got her name wrong it’s either joann or joan. but she truly is so sweet. she made me feel heard and understood. she helped me with everything guevarra refused to. I wish she had her own practice. thank you for everything joann/joan! guevarra, do better.

jeannie neese: Yes, I started with her Oct. 1 and she never showed up! So for 2 1/2 hours I had Karen, Maria Molina and then waited for the Hospital Doctor! I was having trouble breathing and on strong medication that my eyes need to be checked every 6 months and it has been over a year! And my RA medication for Humira needed a new prescription with the change of the new Dr. only 1 injection left! And sent her 2 appcations and I went in there for the 3 time and still has not turned the app in. Not OCT 20 been asking for several referral since oct 1!!! Have driven down to Desert Hospital 3 times now 30 miles round trip!! And I’m like her joke!! 2xs spent 2 1/2 hours there!. And I have appointment tomorrow they are telling me to keep!!! So that will be the 4th visit asking for the same referral’s what does the future hold for me!! I’m 71 years old having to do this on my own and it’s very hard & frustrating all at the same time!!! It’s hard enough to go through this ones but 4 times now! Why doesn’t the Doctor care enough about her patients to take care of what we need the first time. I mean doesn’t every show up for her appointment’s thanks for listening!

Elisa: Maribel does not seem to care about patients. My mom opened up about her pet loss/grief and she felt dismissed. This is not the first time she felt that way. If a patient opens up to you about their health problems and grief, support them! Especially when they’re elderly! Extremely disappointed. Do better.

Rosie Trujillo: My experience... went to ER no hospital beds in their ER. I was told I was being discharged and was taken off IV and after given wrong paperwork. Was there another hour and was given more meds but because IV was taken off they had to give me a shot in my arm and a pill vs in my IV. They were baffled as why my IV was taken off. A few staff (2) were very nice & friendly but the rest you can tell theydid not want to be there. Looks like they dealt with not the greatest patients but those that are there for real reasons... I do not recommend it at all. 1st & last time I go there. I do not feel confident that the staff will try to save my life there. My background is social services and this I would not recommend at all. Sad cause its the only Kaiser Approved hospital in the high dessert. Extremely dissapointed.

Jumana Oyalade: So many bad reviews…. Yikes. Well mine is the total opposite ! Friendly staff, I go to see the amazing Ob doctor for my pregnancy Dr Moneke ! He has been my Dr for both pregnancies! He is just simply amazing. All the staff are very friendly ! May I mention St Mary Hospital in apple valley the labor and delivery nurses and postpartum unit were all just simply amazing !!! I highly recommend. Office is super clean, plenty of parking. Very nice medical offices ! Thank You Dr Moneke and staff ! Thank you to all the nurses in labor and delivery unit and postpartum St Mary Hospital Apple Valley!
