5 /5 Karoline Sarkees: I came to Glendale Memorial Hospital yesterday to get my first ever surgery done and I was very nervous at first but my nurse was so good to me. His name is Edmar he was there for me from the beginning to the end very helpful very caring. I had to stay overnight and he was helping me with everything. I really like how they take care of you at this hospital during and after surgery so thankful.

5 /5 David Hughes: I went to Glendale Memorial for a hernia surgery this morning. Let me say this is a EXCELLENT hospital! From check-in this morning at 6:30 until 12:30 when I left, every step of the way wasfast, beyond professional and friendly! There was never a lag time between any of the steps, like a finely tuned machine. I only wish I knew everybodys names so I could thank them personally! Really a positive day! Also, the interior of the hospital is AWESOME! It looks brand new! Not a scuffed wall or a dirty floor in the whole place that I could see! Last but not least, I am very thankful and consider myself lucky and blessed to have such a skilled and experienced surgeon like Dr. Asok Doraiswamy to perform the procedure! I am very grateful and thank you sir!

2 /5 Kelly Johnson: The care team was exceptional, especially Dr Freling and Gary the transporter. They were skilled, efficient and compassionate, a rare yet necessary trifecta in health care The facilities were filthy. I would not go back due to extremely dirty surroundings from the ED lobby to the ED bay i was placed in. I was worried about infection the entire time and could not wait to get out. There was feces and blood in the entry, bandaids and used cups in the waiting area, and the actual room had bloody bandages and tourniquets on the floor along with just plain dirty floors that had not been scrubbed in a while. I was assured my gurney and the chair in the room had been wiped down?? There was also old and broken equipment in the hallways. Our healthcare providers cannot clean their own spaces. Please ensure they have the environment and materials to do their best work are supported by administrative decisions about allocation of adequate resources. Thank you!

1 /5 Lou Nickerson: My dad had a bad experience very recently. He was put in a shared room with a homeless man who had a TV on full blast day and night. I get the homeless epidemic in LA isn’t the hospital’s fault but why does he have to suffer?

1 /5 Magdy Shenouda: I had a surgery done and I didn’t feel good after so I went to this emergency room and they made me sit down on a chair for more than 6 hours not even a bed to lay down on and the solution that was hooked up to my arm had a broken device. After the doctor told me that I can leave, he told me that I was supposed to do a urine test. The nurse that was hooking the solution to my arm has absolutely no experience, my arm has a large bruise on it because of how inexperienced he was. All the doctors and nurses are very ignorant when it comes to the patient, they don’t care about them and all they care about is messing around and laughing while people are suffering. Please do not go to this emergency room it’s very bad.
