4 /5 Ayslin Rice: Went in for a gel French pedicure plus a French lacquer mani pedi. This experience was meant to be a Christmas gift to my mom.
Cons: The lacquer manicure seems to have been quite a low effort endeavor: nails shaped crooked or not shaped at all, the French manicure lopsided on each nail and from nail to nail. We didn’t take pictures- the mani lasted one day because only one (possibly no?) top coat was applied. You might be asking yourself why I didn’t say anything- I didn’t know until the next day, when the person who had the manicure (this individual is inexperienced with expressing negative opinions to service workers about their work) told me. I like to give the benefit of the doubt but this was not very nice.
Pros: They took us right on time for our appointment and the booking process was easy. The foot massage was good, and they deliver all of the services promised in each package. They took off my old gel pedi with a drill, but took care not to scrape or damage my nail. Clearly very hygienic, the facility was clean and well lit. Well staffed, and the staff was cordial and professional.
Overall this was still a good experience, but the manicure being poorly executed made me very disappointed. I got my mom these services so that she could relax and feel beautiful and happy, and the next day when her nails were ruined after some very light cooking (with gloves) she was sad and I was sad for her. We came in on a Monday, so in my opinion the manicure should have at least lasted through Wednesday. I’m sure the salon in general will stick by their staff, as they should. I would recommend this place for gel or acrylic, but not for someone wanting lacquer.
