5 /5 Sara Phillips: This store is not your basic hardware store. Its more of a hardware/general store. They have everything you thought you remembered for your camping/rafting/biking trip. Some things you can find here include: cutlery and housewares, fishing bait and tackle, rafts and oars, Downieville souvenirs & postcards, down to the general hardware supplies like hammer, screws, and paint. The owner, Cindy, a lifelong resident of Downieville, and her employees are very welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating to all your needs. Her two adorable pugs are also a joy if you are in need of some puppy love during your visit here. Dont hesitate to stop in and see if they have what you are looking for!

5 /5 Sierra Shangri-La: Just love this store !! She always has what ya need ! Saved us several times when we needed emergency items, hot water heater , heaters among other this and that’s !

5 /5 Robert Weston: My son and i go camp up the way and even if we brought everything we always make a stop here to check everything out. We Always find something we didnt know we needed. The owner is super friendly as well. Thanks for being there.

5 /5 Lynnea White: This store is filled with stuff you wouldnt think youd find in a small town. Kids broke a window and was trying to find a temp patch and found out hardware store has glass and can cut it to size. Saving me an hour trip to big city. Needed a vacuum belt for a pretty old vacuum and Cindy had it. I swear they have everything you can imagine.

5 /5 Shari: Stopped in here last summer because I forgot a few items for my trip. Was pleasantly surprised at all this store had to offer! Definitely my new favorite spot in the Sierras!
