coran beck: I get my hair done here by Cindy Franco - I love this salon - it is unpretentious with friendly and welcoming staff. Due to COVID restrictions for salons, they created a large patio out back in the parking lot that is fully shaded by a tent and surrounded by large potted plants - creating a lovely green hedge. (As of now appointments are back inside with all employees and clients wearing masks at all times)
Shannon: I’ve been seeing Laura for over two years and she’s simply the best. She’s honest, great at what she does, and so fun to chat with in the chair. Definitely recommend her for blondes!
Michael Sjollema: My name is Victoria andI discovered Lety though Next Door online. Someone had posted that she is amazing with fine hair. I have had a life time of fine hair issues and in need of someone, so I went to see her for a consult. I had been perming my hair for a few decades just to get some body and was over it. Lety told me that my hair had a natural wave and that the right cut would enhance it and that most likely I would find that I no longer needed a perm. I was intrigued and booked my first appt. Lety did not disappoint! I walked out of her salon with a wash and wear cut with the most adorable soft curls I never knew I had! I have been so incredibly happy with Lety and consider her a hair wizard.
Mary Ellen Civiello: Alan is always so welcoming towards me as well as accommodating to all of my needs. He uses the product I requested which is ammonia- free Schwartzkopf, dyes my eyebrows, keeps my hair healthy with a trim each month and offers me tea with honey every time. :)
Honestly, Urban Salon is the best beauty parlor in Santa Barbara and Alan, the owner, is an outstanding hair stylist. I feel lucky to have found him!

Andrew Karnowski: The cost of haircut in California compared to Utah is outrageous. I was a little apprehensive about going for the budget option here just top keep my price point the same... and my fears seemed to have been realized. The stylist was nice, but my haircut right to left is uneven. Its not bad enough that Id go back in for a fix, but I wont be returning to this store.
