Best 12 MEDICAL SERVICES near Fresno, CA (Part 3)
04-2025 Clinica Sierra Vista - Orange and Butler Community Health Center in Best 12 MEDICAL SERVICES near Fresno, CA (Part 3)Clovis Community Medical Center - Clovis Genesee Paine: My husband was brought in by ambulance after having a ruptured ulcer and throwing up black (dead) blood. After racing into the ER they brought me back right away to see him, he was in critical condition, I was distraught and the staff was so amazing and compassionate. He ended up getting a bed/room and staying for 5 days and needed 5 blood transfusions. I was able to stay with him on the fold-out couch in his room which was very private and nicely designed. The nurses and doctors were angels, every single one of them were informed, attentive and even patient with my millions of questions. Even the neurologists made visits, as he has epilepsy, where his meds were adjusted & he has way less seizures now! This is the hospital for us in scary situations that I hope never happen again, but if they do- I know we’ll be in the best hands ever. Thank you, Clovis Community.
Inspire Health Medical Group - Fresno gloria green: It is very unfortunate that you see their doctors, have all the pricy lab work and MRIs completed and the most you get is a prescription for some iffy drug that does not work. Your calls are never returned. Anyhow, you get empty promises of pulmonary referrals only the dr never puts in the referral. You wait months to see the dr thinking it is better than UCSF.
You lose a year of your life and I question the connection to the university. Probably should have gone to the Mayo Clinic or Sansum in SB. I have been a supporter of Universal Health Care but find the system worse than ever. When I had employer paid insurance I was never sick and the premiums were waisted. Go to Community Hospital and you are put on a gurney, treated in a storage room. Our governor cares little for CA hospitals.
Sorry to report my lack of faith in a health care system that fails the majority of its patients.
Fresno EOC Community Health Center - Fresno Noel Gallardo: Splendid basic medical services from an agency that is highly acclaimed for its civic devotion to the community at-large. Such rapidity was exercised for what I needed to accomplish as in the manner of receiving a tuberculosis skin test. It was as simple as understanding the quantum physics behind of why we humans must understand that we all need to communicate in a respectable and just manner. I placed my name with their annals with the scribing of my name, and why I was visiting this serene establishment. Next, I was graciously handed a clipboard with a short form to identify who I was. Signed and dated, I returned my written vitals to the exceptional medical clerk, whereupon I was asked for the nominal fee of $20.00 for the action of the test to take place. A minute later I was given an authentic receipt, and I sat to wait for my named to be called. Meanwhile, a television was in the process of broadcasting Aladdins drama in the majestic sand dunes of a sumptuously scenic Middle East. Two minutes elapsed before a medical nurse led me to a room, where I was professionally given the much-ballyhooed tuberculosis skin test. The speed was of the lightning experience. The process was as tranquil and smooth as the sheen of a single blade of grass shimmering in a foothill meadow where secret gardens and valleys are discovered and cherished as divine moments of clarity.
Northwest Medical Group: Urgent Care - Fresno N G: I went in today both my son and I needed to be seen. The process was quick and painless. The nurses and nurse practitioners took good care of of us and had us in and out. My son, 2.5 years old, even got stickers when we walked out! Jessica the Nurse Practitioner is who helped us while we were there.
Central Valley OB/GYN Medical Group - Fresno odalyz macias: I am willing to put my name out there even if it means to help other women out. The staff is nice, the ladies in the back who get your information make you feel very welcomed, also the other OBs are nice. The problem is Dr. Pascual. Please change your OB if you get put with her, as soon as you know it. I was stuck with her because my insurance took forever to transfer me. Also change your clinic, it is important to do so to avoid being scheduled with her during appointments and when you deliver your baby. It’s not worth the risk! The negative reviews about her are true. The things she says to you are usually scare tactics and negative. She doesnt give you advice at all and only tell you things as if she know for sure will happen, like your baby dying or even you dying (she used those exact vocabulary words to others and I). She also keeps her nails long and filed into square tips, which is unsanitary and is probably the reason why it was painful when she examined me. Mind you, you’re pregnant and a lot more sensitive in those areas, she doesnt seem to care though. She belittled me for not being able to get checked and told me I cant deliver my baby, if I cant handle her checking me. She doesnt even think about being more gentle or clipping her nails at all. She rushes through the whole process (after waiting an hour and half to see her, even for a scheduled appointment) and uses her “sweet voice” to cover it all up. Last appointment, I walked out bawling my eyes out because of the awful things she told me. She’s said worse and unacceptable things to others and I’m not exaggerating or being extra at all. Ima start off by helping women with this post by writing this review. I really hope something can be done. I knew she would be a bad OB, but I didnt think she’d be the worst.
Kaiser Permanente First Street Medical Offices - Fresno Daniel Leistner: Dr. Blankenship is a very good physician. He is highly skilled and knowledgeable while consistently demonstrating a pleasant and professional manner. I feel that Dr. Blankenship is one of the best doctors at Kaiser.
Valley Childrens Medical Group - jason sulay: We love this place. Have been bringing our toddler here since we moved down to Fresno and now bring our newborn here. Staff is always friendly and doctors are great.
Valley Childrens Hospital - Madera Corinna Huish: My son was sent there in October, 2024. We were there for 5 days. The first 3 days in the PICU were fine. The nurses were very helpful when I would head to the cafeteria for breakfast and dinner. The last 2 days were spent on the main floor. The nurses there were horrendous. Suddenly, I was not allowed to leave the room to get food. They would not bring me food so I spent 2 days eating the scraps off my childs plates. I would push the call button to ask them for water or to ask when my child was gonna get his medications or food and it took them hours to respond. I had to drink from the sink more than once. There werent even cups in the room. Eventually, I had to open the door and start calling down the hall. The nurses were not nice. They acted like we were annoying them. The doctor didnt even bother to come visit us and talk to me UNTIL we were being discharged. I would never go to this hospital willingly. If youre a parent, prepare to be ignored and dismissed. And prepare to have your children be treated like they are inconveniencing the nurses. Now, they keep calling me because they want me to drive 3 hours to them for a follow-up that they can do over the phone, and Ive been ignoring them while we wait for our local appointment to come up.
