1 /5 Yacine Chouaib: Doctors are great however the people in charge of answering the phone and billing are terrible, I called to schedule a yearly check up, they coded it as an office visit, I have been trying to have them fix the coding error for 5 months, I received a voicemail from Liz in billing informing me that it will be written off and she suggested I find a new doctor, which I am ok with since I don’t want to deal with them in the future, a month later I’m still receiving a bill for it. When I called back, Denise mentioned ‘we are all frustrated and trying to stay open and pay medical workers’.....? What does that have to do with making a mistake and unable to make an effort to fix it and being all rude on the phone by suggesting to a patient to go find another doctor...?
Please stop being rude and fix your coding errors and instead of educating your patients on what they should do in order to avoid your mistakes, you need to train your people better to minimize these administrative glitches
Last place patients expect anxiety from is their doctors office.
