    Deena Mallareddy: I am writing this review very reluctantly b/c I wholly support local businesses and actually left City Toyota for this very reason. This is my story. I recently made an appt for a 150K service and consultation for a body issue based on a wonderful experience when it was Luscious Garage. The work done by Earthling that was done was great, so five stars for that, but I was disappointed about the customer service regarding their unwillingness to honor a coupon I presented at drop off. The car needed to stay overnight, with my teenage son picking it up the next day. They couldnt do the work unless it was paid for, so I did that remotely, and my son was going to present the coupon the next day at pick up. They would not honor the coupon, saying the charge had already gone through. We all know its pretty easy to reverse charges or submit a credit on a credit card, do make adjustments after the fact. I called to follow up. They were supposed to call back. They didnt. Two calls and one message later, radio silence. Its one thing to not honor the coupon. Its another to just ghost a customer. Unfortunately, I will not be going back b/c this is the type of ghosting I would expect from City Toyota. Im not sure where to go next, but I hope that Earthling brings back the customer service b/c thats what small businesses do.

    Jake Lipp: This place is the best! Ive been going to them for years and would recommend them without hesitation. Ali is super knowledgeable and is able to tell you the problem in ways a non-mechanic can understand. Hasan is honest, has never tried to sell me on something I dont need and even has encouraged me to wait (tires) on occasion. Their work is fast and more importantly they stand behind it. You wont be disappointed taking your car to them.

    Yonas Andemariam: Ive had Darren and his team work on my classic car several times and their level of professionalism, honesty and efficiency cannot be matched. Being that my car is over 40 years old, not every mechanic has the experience to work on it. They have been able to not only fix, but maintain my car to the point that it starts right up and has given me zero issues. When they have come across a part that needs replacing, they would suggest it without being pushy or trying to upsell. Darren even went the extra mile to find a discontinued part for my 40 year old windshield wiper motor. I will continue bringing my cars to them and Im very fortunate to have a trustworthy auto shop in the Mission!!!

    Kyle McNulty: I normally hate taking my car into a mechanic because I feel like I am getting fleeced. My friend said Don is honest and runs his business with integrity, and that 100% proved true. I went in expecting to need brake pads replaced on both axles after an oil change assessment, but Don gave me a call and said the back ones were in great shape and did not need to be replaced. Final price also perfectly matched the original quote. Best auto service experience I have ever had.

    kathryn jones: Reliable, honest, and kind! I had multiple things go wrong with my car two days before I was due to officiate my brother’s wedding in Mendocino. Claudio’s got the parts ordered and the work done in one day and I was successfully up north at the wedding with time to spare. They came through in a pinch and did a great job at a very reasonable price, and did the work I was able to afford without pushing for other stuff to be done. I can’t thank them enough!

    susan: I have used Bay Motor Works for my BMW for several years. They have always done great work and I have always trusted them to be fair in pricing and honest when recommending repairs. I think they specialize in repairing BMW’s but I was happy to learn after I sold my BMW (which was 15 years old and still running well thanks to them) that they will also work on my Porsche. I highly recommend Bay Motor Works! Also the men that run it are easy and pleasant to deal with. I always have dealt with Cliff, but yesterday I worked with Will and he was also very nice to deal with as well as helpful.
