5 /5 Bibiana Ramirez Diaz: I’ve been wanting to try this new place since it opened because it very close to where I live. I finally got the chance and it was soo good! Jessica and Vi did an amazing job on my nails and toes! All the staff is super friendly and sweet! I would highly recommend stopping by here if you want to try a new place in Burlingame! I will be returning!

First Impression of Belmont - Belmont Julia Kutik: I truly love Belmont First Impression! I recently discovered this gem and couldn’t be happier. I now treat my mother to her mani/pedi services here as well — it’s become our go-to spot. The service is consistently attentive, and the ladies are always polite, professional, and welcoming. They have a fantastic selection of colors to choose from, and the pedicure chairs are incredibly comfortable — you really feel pampered. The prices are very affordable, which is a big plus. Another huge plus: their gel mani/pedi polish lasts beautifully for 3–4 weeks! The quality is excellent, and it really makes a difference. At first, I wasn’t sure about the dimmed lighting, but I quickly realized how calming it is. It actually helps me relax more during the service. I also love the cozy couches in the waiting area — such a thoughtful touch that makes the whole experience even more pleasant. One of the things I appreciate most is their flexibility. Even when I called just 30 minutes before the time I needed, they managed to accommodate me without hesitation. Highly recommend this salon — it’s a wonderful combination of comfort, quality, and care!
First Impression of San Carlos - San Carlos Heidi Dworetzky: I don’t have a problem with both branches I just don’t like the branch in San Carlos. I filed my own nails let’s start there. The lady didn’t understand me because of lack of communication. She was making them shorter and shorter but still filing them the wrong shape. Which I don’t have a problem finding my own nails. I do have a problem when they still don’t do it right after me showing them how to do one. Then they messed them up all over again. Which ended with me just taking the file and fixing it myself which I was happy to do. She had a extremely bad attitude. Saying the boss can take over and do them which I don’t have time for. Then I asked her to fix a toenail which would’ve required her to take the color off put acrylic on to make my nails look square and she just filed my nail in a circle and said OK all done. It’s clearly not square the one she was supposed to fix. Also she didn’t want to do cuticle oil they had it. But I was ready to leave. So I didn’t bother to ask. And had an attitude about it the entire time so I probably will not come back to the location in San Carlos. I will go to the one in Belmont where at least they are very pleasant.
Bellamy Nails - San Carlos Lisa: Diane is the best! She is friendly and meticulous and did a great job on my daughter’s nail art. She seemed to really enjoy producing a great result and making her customers happy.

The Silk Nail Salon - San Carlos ginger Silverman: Duc is a delight at fixing and taking care of my nails! I get many compliments on my nails both fingers and toes! I ask my friends to go just once and they are long time clients now!

Stone Foxx - Belmont Gaurav Krishnamurthy: Stone Fox is a fantastic spa with very knowledgeable staff who are friendly and very skilled. My wife and I went in for facials, and we both had incredible experiences. The facials were the best we ever had. Nicole and Tara were very detailed, communicated the regimen clearly and very skilled. Our skins feel fantastic after the facials and we look forward to being regular customers!
The Pedestal - Redwood City Valerie M Barnes: The Pedastal’s motto is no hair left behind. Dottie is a true master of her craft. I’ve been seeing her for years and I can’t say enough great things about her. The place is absolutely spotless. She takes great care of her clients and handles business. She always checks in and asks if there are any changes with your skin. She takes her time and is very thorough with her work.
Serenity Spa - Redwood City Travis Trail: Had a really great massage! It looks like this place is under new ownership, as the name changed and it has been repainted and redecorated inside, and my massage therapist, Linda, was new as well. She gave a nice strong massage. It was wonderful. She worked out some knots in my neck and upper back. Highly recommended!
Laurel Street Salon - San Carlos Gwen Cannon: Carrie, Carmen and Rosalie are finally back at The Laurel Street Salon! Very professional and following all CDC Guidelines. Expect to wear a mask, have your temperature checked, use hand sanitizer and fill out a Covid 19 questionare. Stations and chairs are sanitized after every use. So happy to have them back!
