The Pedestal - Redwood City Valerie M Barnes: The Pedastal’s motto is no hair left behind. Dottie is a true master of her craft. I’ve been seeing her for years and I can’t say enough great things about her. The place is absolutely spotless. She takes great care of her clients and handles business. She always checks in and asks if there are any changes with your skin. She takes her time and is very thorough with her work.
Serenity Spa - Redwood City Travis Trail: Had a really great massage! It looks like this place is under new ownership, as the name changed and it has been repainted and redecorated inside, and my massage therapist, Linda, was new as well. She gave a nice strong massage. It was wonderful. She worked out some knots in my neck and upper back. Highly recommended!
Laurel Street Salon - San Carlos Gwen Cannon: Carrie, Carmen and Rosalie are finally back at The Laurel Street Salon! Very professional and following all CDC Guidelines. Expect to wear a mask, have your temperature checked, use hand sanitizer and fill out a Covid 19 questionare. Stations and chairs are sanitized after every use. So happy to have them back!
Sunshine9 - San Carlos Jessica Foran: My new favorite place to get a mani/pedi. Dao does meticulous work. Her foot and hand massage were outstanding. Reasonable pricing. I would call ahead and schedule to make an appt if you are looking to come with a friend to ensure there is enough staff to accommodate your services.

Forest Spa Boutique - Palo Alto Dovile Brandini: Thank goodness for this spa! I have been going to Bianca for years and followed her wherever she works because she knows what she is doing. I have had acne for years and her facials do not make my acne worse, I leave there feeling beautiful and without makeup because she does such a wonderful job!!! I have literally gone there with a mountain and left with a tiny bump because she knows how to handle skin so well!!! I also love her products! I honestly did not think I would transition to the Pevonia products but once I tried the samples she gave me I fell in love and have been using them since she opened the spa! I am so glad she has her own place and would recommend her to anyone who wants a facial or any of the services she offers because she is wonderful at everything she does! I usually get a facial once a month and when she is on vacation I wait because I have had horrible experiences with other people and I know with Bianca I will leave happier, prettier and not scared! GO SEE HER! ITS A MUST!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and inviting, setting the perfect tone for relaxation. My masseuse was exceptional. She took the time to listen to my preferences and respected my request for a lighter pressure throughout the session. It was refreshing to have someone genuinely attentive to my needs, focusing on all parts of my body with just the right amount of care and technique. I left feeling completely rejuvenated! The pricing was incredibly fair for the quality of service I received. I’ve been to other places that charged significantly more for a less satisfying experience, so this was a delightful surprise. If you’re looking for a place that offers tailored massages in a serene environment, I highly recommend Crystal Cove. I can’t wait to return for another session!
Immersion Spa - Palo Alto Mia Duran Castillo: Love the amenity options especially the salt room. I love my scrubs every time. Just wish masks were offered w/ the silky scrub +. Also, I wish I could see who my last masseuses were because although ALL are wonderful some do edge others sometimes. All the staff are wonderful! Highly recommended. TY!!!

Evolutions Medical & Day Spa - Santa Barbara Riley Ellis: Evolutions is the best spa in town! I get monthly facials with Rochelle and she has completely transformed my skin. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional with wonderful tips and product selections to keep your skin glowing after a facial. Rochelle is so kind and warm and the main reason I joined their VIP program and come back consistently! I have also gotten wonderful massages here, the ambiance and environment is always so peaceful and luxurious. The front desk staff is also very helpful and welcoming. I always leave feeling amazing!
