It looks like this place is under new ownership, as the name changed and it has been repainted and redecorated inside, and my massage therapist, Linda, was new as well. She gave a nice strong massage. It was wonderful. She worked out some knots in my neck and upper back. Highly recommended!

2 /5 ariana: Beware of the Tipping Pressure – Uncomfortable Experience My boyfriend and I visited this massage place, and while the massage itself was decent, the experience was completely overshadowed by how they handled the tip. We had confirmed the massage would be $140 total and only had $10 in cash for a tip. The gentleman handling our payment made the situation incredibly awkward—pointing to a tip chart and essentially pressuring us to tip more, saying $10 was just “average” and $15 was for “good.” What really shocked us was how unprofessional and demeaning their behavior became. They laughed at us when we said we couldn’t tip more and even asked if we had our cards so we could add more money. They came off extremely money-hungry and it was very uncomfortable being confronted like that. If you’re considering coming here, just know that the tipping expectations are aggressively pushed, and it might ruin what could have been a relaxing experience. Definitely not how a professional business should treat paying customers.

5 /5 Aaron Recine: I am hesitant to write this review because I dont want to give up my new favorite spot! It feels like a hidden gem that only I know about! I have been to many many different massage places, both corporate, private, and Chinese reflexology style and hands down, by a MILE CoCo is the absolute best I have ever had. Bear in mind that I want a VERY hard massage that feels like the therapist is almost trying to kill you lol. CoCo has incredible strength, but where she stands out is knowing WHERE to focus that strength. She runs her thumb across your body and searches for knots and tension. I will also use Google translate to inform her of problem areas if needed. ( Chinese Simplified seems to work ). I recently moved from Redwood City to Gilroy and will likely try other local spots, but I am very doubtful I will find someone who is as detailed, thorough, and professional as CoCo. Also, as others have said, the business has changed hands fairly recently, and the owner and her sister are working hard to make the place inviting and professional. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a sound dampening curtain or other material to block out the noise of the kitchen / break room area in the back. It can be a little distracting. Beyond that, I have no complaints. Also, TIP WELL. I always ask for a 2 hour body massage, and I have NO IDEA how professional therapists can sustain constant pressure for so long, and thats coming from someone who used to be a professional mechanic! I tip $40 for 2 hours. Seriously bummed I am moving, but I am sure I will make the over hour drive if I can not find a local place with the same dedication to the craft that CoCo obviously has.
