David Soza I highly recommend Certified Auto Repair Specialist. It’s evident that Allen and Edwin are dedicated to Quality and Customer Service. I have been very impressed by the commitment to their Code of Ethics. Edwin and his ASE-certified technicians are outstanding. They expertly replaced the rear shocks and airbag suspension on my Lexus GX 470. The workmanship was exceptional and the price was very fair. When you go to their shop, you’ll experience the Pride in their Business and the Care for their Customers that I immediately saw and felt. The shop is clean, organized and uncluttered. Communication is clear, friendly and very straightforward. Cost is also straightforward and very fair. And, the Technicians are very professional, knowledgeable, and super efficient. I. Stella (Stella-Rae) Ive been going to Certified Auto for the past 10 years now. During that time Ive had 4 different cars and moved outside the Pasadena area. Despite that, I keep going back Certified Auto because they do excellent work, are honest and transparent. If they can find the needed part at a lesser rate or after market, they will let you know and allow you to make to choice.

Garo M Understandably, I can relate to the many 5 star reviews regarding Foothill Smog Auto Repair. Like many car owners, Ive had my car serviced by a few other shops over the years. However, no other shop can compare to this shops ownership care and expert knowledge. Not only do I have our family cars smog certified, but all general maintenance and periodic stuff that happens because of o ur long commutes.

Jerwin Monje Went in during my lunch and was seen right away, even without an appointment. Everything was so smooth and easy. I just asked for a smog check and he was able to get it done! I’d recommend anyone needing one to come here. Everything was put right into the DMV system automatically & he explained it all very clearly. Great service & experience for the price I paid!

Nathan Oppenheimer These guys have more work than they can handle and it shows in the end result of their service. They don’t even communicate unless you show up in person - then its just unhelpful passing of the responsibility between whoever happens to be there. Untrustworthy, broke our vehicle more and still charged us. Approached for in person resolution and was essentially told to drive an undrivable vehicle off their lot. Don’t give these guys any more business they can’t handle it responsibly.

Fei Zheng I have been using Flintridge Automotive for many years and am finally leaving a long-overdue review for these wonderful guys. I recently took my car to a Toyota dealership for a regular maintenance and was told that my water pump was leaking, and the dealership wanted to charge me over $1,200 to have it fixed (shame on you, Bob Smith Toyota in Montrose). Naturally, I had my doubts and checked under my car multiple times and saw no leakage of fluids. Then, I decided to contact Flintridge Automotive to get a second opinion, and guess what? My water pump is NOT leaking, and I dont need to have it replaced. Not only that, the owner Greg was so kind to not even charge me a single penny for his time and efforts. You cant get this kind of honesty, knowledge, combined with service anywhere else these days. I wholeheartedly HIGHLY RECOMMEND Flintridge Automotive to anyone looking for a auto mechanic shop that is knowledgeable, HONEST, and service-oriented! Look no further!!

Trevor Ware Peter is an absolute master mechanic. I was having troubles with my CV axles, and he installed both new CV axles and new ball joints (on both sides of the car) in under an hour. He is experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. I would recommend Peter to anyone having trouble with their vehicle as this was the best service I have experienced to date. It was quick, affordable, and done the right way. If I could give it a 6 out 5 stars I would.

xicanorv Great and professional service. My 1954 chevy was leaking oil like crazy, the team at Advance Muffler were able to find where it was leaking and fix the issue. They also installed a split exhaust system that makes my car look more awesome!

P I called to ask for a small job after I mentioned what the job was on a bmw the guy on the phone the owner apparently became audibly annoyed and told me that they just don’t do that I enquired further because he suggested to take my job to another type of shop I explained it needed a special tool that they would most certainly have but he wasn’t having it rudely told me we just don’t do that as if I was an annoyance more than a potential customer. Extremely unprofessional and rude. Learn to treat clients with the respect your being treated, imagine if you had an issue with their actual paid work they would surely treat you terribly estay away

DONNA Burton I hit a pot hole in DTLA and it broke the oil cooler return line. I took it in on a Thursday around 2pm and it was fixed on Friday at 12 less than 24hrs. I must say that David went above and beyond to fix my car in less than 24 hrs, WOW and I didnt expect to get my car back for at least two weeks!!! Oh thats not even the best part yall!!!. What took the win/ icing on the cake is that David threw in a few extra perks as a thank you for my business!! I will never take my BMW to any other Professional! THANK YOU DAVID! MY HERO!

Tony Blakely I called House Automotive of Pasadena due to an issue I had with my 2019 Porsche Panamera earlier that morning and spoke with Scott. I asked if I could bring the car in and he said yes with no prior appointment. I think he sense the worry in my voice. Upon my arrival Scott and team started the diagnostic immediately and determined that there was no issue with the vehicle that they could see. Scott had the technician reset the one code and personally took the vehicle for a test drive prior to my departure. In and out in less than a hour. Twice now and excellent service each time. He also really knows his business and your cars needs. fair prices. honest work, lets you watch. I would not go to any other shop. Hilo has his new shop over in Fontana. See his shop for those living over there. The new owners is as good as Hilo. both shops are awesome places to go.

So I took it to Vince and he informs me that actually my brakes were fine and wouldn’t need to replaced for a while. I’ve taken my car there for other services and have had only good experiences. iiAchilles I stumbled upon Victors shop since he had helped out on my moms car. I have a 2020 BMW M550i with a CEL, and silly old me took it to the stealership at Monrovia where they quoted me over 5K to fix (they didnt even know the problem??) I took it to Victor, and although it took awhile (2~3 weeks i forgot) he kept me updated, and fixed the issue at less than half of the cost quoted. Ever since then my car was running without issue! Im writing this review today to give credit where its due! 6 months later taking my car to the stealership for my prepaid plan they told me I had a leaking coolant signs. They again quoted me a ridiculous amount such as 1K, stating they dont know what it is but thats what itll cost to fix it. I took it to Victor in the morning - he calls me at the end of the day to pick up the vehicle. Turns out one there was a small leak on one of the hoses. He didnt even charge me a dime for the hose, which was such noble act on his part! This is the reason im going to keep taking my car to Victor and his crew - its hard to find honest mechanics nowadays, but i can assue you Victor is one of them! Thanks again Victor!!!

C. Antillon Originally discovered Mastertech in a short list of preferred installers of an after-market (Vais Tech) satellite radio hardware/interface for my new Subaru. After an initial assessment Mastertech owner Mike made me feel at ease with his knowledge and experience with the products. So much that I added speaker, lighting and USB upgrades at the same time. From the start Mastertech owner Mike was personally involved in planning the installation and showed a level of commitment, resourcefulness and care rarely seen in the automotive world. They advised me on various installation options, kept me apprised throughout the process and was able to deliver a first rate product installation, which involved both careful assembly of components and tech programming. My new car was cared for beautifully throughout the process. Would highly recommend Mike and his team for any after market upgrades.

Sam Ringenberg They get two stars, because I used to like this place. That ended this week. I called on Monday as my catalytic converter was stolen, and Steven told me it would be around $1500, and be done Tuesday or Wednesday. I’m now leaving on Friday for nearly triple the cost. I cannot fathom how being that far off, on an estimate of cost, or time, is acceptable. If you have a nail in your tire, you can go here. If you have real work you need done? Do better research than I did.

Morely Paredes First time at Crown City Tire. Excellent service I came in asking for an alignment, Steven listened carefully to my reasons, came out to inspect the vehicle, and gave me his professional advice based on his experience. As a woman, I felt his advice was honestly to solve my problem and not just to make me spend money unnecessarily which I really value and appreciate it. Although I had to leave the car for the rest of the day, I didnt have to worry about getting back home because he offered shuttle service. They demonstrated a high level of professionalism, commitment, and personalized attention that far exceeded my expectations.Thank you!
