4 /5 Usagi & Neko: Great ambience! A bit disappointed the roof was not open. Brussels Sprouts was over cooked in black and I thought it was mushrooms. GRILLED MUSHROOMS was ok. Wagyu Beef Stroganoff, I will give a C+. The sauce was so thick and so oily. The grass-fed certified humane wagyu beef was ok. Be honest, I tried a Stroganoff in Marie Callenders and it was good. Thats why I have higher expectations from Grandville.

5 /5 AJ: The rooftop at this restaurant had a really great vibe. The food was excellent and well prepared. Our server, Sami, was especially kind she kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and I really appreciated her service. Anyone who gets her as their server is truly lucky. There’s a parking lot in the back with 90 minutes of free parking, which is convenient. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting if you want good food with a relaxed atmosphere.

5 /5 Jason Kunert: Food is exceptional. It’s fairly loud inside but not so bad that you can’t have a table conversation. We went on a Saturday night and the wait was less than we were told when we checked in (about 30 minutes) which was nice. Service was rather slow. I’d have had 4 beers rather than 2 if my glass wasn’t empty half the time. But the food…so good.

3 /5 Sarah Sun: Came here for the Dine LA event so we got three courses for $25 not including tip. There was around a 10 minute wait to get seated since we were okay with sitting at the bar area. It would have probably taken longer if we wanted a regular table. After being seated, it took around 10-15 minutes to place our order and then around 25 minutes for our first course to arrive. The entree and dessert also took long to arrive. The serving time was disappointing since we spent quite some time waiting for our food to be served. We ordered the garlic tomato bisque, grilled mushrooms, and thai ginger salad for first course; classic cheeseburger, chipotle chicken club, bacon & blue burger for second course. And for dessert we got the vanilla gelato and chocolate cake. For the drink we got the berry lemonade which they refilled as we dined. It was a bit sour tho but pretty good. The tomato bisque and grilled tomatos were pretty good but the thai salad was mediocre with very little soba noodles. As for the burgers and sandwich, they were very filling and tasted good but not anything special. They did come with chips but those were like kettle and kind of hard. The gelato was very disappointing because it was already melting when it was served and it did not taste like gelato but regular ice cream. The chocolate cake was not that sweet since it is dark chocolate. As for the ambiance, it was very modern and hady upstairs and outdoor seating. Overall, I am not sure why it is popular since I didnt think the food was spectacular. I probably would not visit again.

5 /5 E Nathalie: Excellent ambiance. Monday night, no wait. The Ahi filet and the Angel hair pasta with shrimp were amazing. The flavors were on point. The service was attentive and unhurried. I would come again when Im in the area.
