Crawdads on the River - Sacramento (CA)

3 /5 Elisa Green-Brumfield: Met my friend here for a quick lunch date on a Thursday. There were about 15 people there. The waitress wasnt very friendly maybe said two words and sat us down. She gave us our menus and left. It took 23 minutes for anyone to come over after that. I wanted to get up and go to Chevys instead. But my friend insisted we stay and that I would like the food. The food was good but Im not sure if come back. I may give them another chance but Im definitely checking out that Chevys first. Location was amazing because of the water view.

5 /5 Emily Rogers: This is the most beautiful place to grab some excellent seafood! The steaming bowl of clams, shrimp, mussels and cod was amazing! I would recommend going just before sunset the view is incredible! Doesn’t get any better then Crawdads by the river! Will return!

5 /5 Sunisa S W.: Came on Saturday around 3:45 p.m. with my husband. The place was busy, and both the host and server were working really hard. The host even helped run food! My husband decided to make a reservation for 4:15 p.m. so we could sit outside by the riverfront. The vibe was pretty casual, kind of like a bar where you can catch a game near the counter. Occasionally, you could smell a bit of gas from the boat motors, but it didn’t last long. The food was okay, but the service was amazing.

5 /5 Gerhard Stadel: Great Service, Great Food, & Great Atmosphere. Clam Chowder soup is a must-have...... Awesome flavor & the Bacon on top puts it over the edge! Fish & Chips comes with 4 healthy sized filets which is a perfect portion.

5 /5 Wander Lust: Very nice hidden gem. Great location, overseeing Sacramento river. Indoor and outdoor seatings available. A space for rent for event with stage and its own bar. Restrooms are clean. Parking is a bit narrow between cars. Be careful if wearing high heels as it has a bit stairs to go down from parking lot to the front door of the restaurant. Best food: CAJUN PASTA!
