Thomas Whitley 5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Experience at La Cosecha by Mayahuel! I recently visited La Cosecha by Mayahuel and had an outstanding experience. Salvador, my bartender, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. Fernanda was also very helpful and ensured that our needs were met throughout the evening. We started with the chips and salsa, which were fresh and flavorful. The guacamole was truly fantastic - creamy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. Overall, I highly recommend La Cosecha by Mayahuel for its excellent food, exceptional service, and warm atmosphere. Cant wait to return!

Jonathan Lopez The service is top notch! Definitely will be coming back here again. Alfonso was such a great guy. He made sure we were taken care of to the smallest detail. Update: I was so excited yesterday after our visit, that I forgot to take my cheesecake and bread pudding home, I called them and they made sure I got my sweets back! Highly recommend this place!

Bonnie Hodge It had been awhile since last visiting and was happy to receive good food and service again. The bartender efficiently set us up with lattes as we waited for a table to open. No chairs at the bar. We got a two top in the aisle, not a desirable situation. Our server was lovely and the orders were delivered timely and correctly. The Kew Garden omelet is light and naturally flavorful. Total visit for a holiday season Monday lunch window just under 90 minutes.

Cristian Carrillo Castillo As a Latino couple, we usually avoid restaurants that serve generic Tex-Mex food — but Zócalo truly surprised us! The flavors were authentic and well-balanced, definitely passing our taste test. We were seated right away, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. The steaks were juicy, tender, and full of flavor, and even the beans stood out — rich and well-seasoned. Overall, a great dining experience that exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Angie MzChocolate Staff was amazing and accommodating. We came in late to eat and everyone was so nice. Our waitress was very helpful. Food was so good. The atmosphere was very laid back and the trolly was so interesting. We had the fettuccine alfredo with the cheesy garlic bread. We washed it down with Italian sodas and got the glass for a keepsake! Prices were very affordable. Will be back !

Michael Johns Amazing food and the portions are huge!! Happy hour is crazy good because appetizers are half off and they are massive!! Could eat an appetizer as a meal. I had their PBnJ Burger because I was always intrigued by that concoction and I can’t say it was the best, just different. The tuna poke nachos, sweet and spicy shrimp and tavern pizzas are incredibly good!! Highly recommend this spot especially during happy hours the vibes are great and the service was too!

benjaminGonzlez Ahhh the house of yards. Where the beers are long and tasty, the people are equally friendly. The only thing better than the beer selection is the food! I got the Truffle cheese burger and truffle fries which was soo dam good I almost fell out my seat from enjoyment. Everyone else greatly enjoyed the food they got also. There was a dragon fruit margarita that was very good and even visually stunning. All and all Im coming back for more of everything and its in a part of downtown that has so much to do, so it fits right into the vibe.

Christian Martinez Mayahuel is one of my wife’s and my favorite spots in Sacramento. Great food, great cocktails, great service, and an amazing atmosphere—it checks every box. You do pay a little more than other places, but it’s absolutely worth it. We started with chips, salsa, and guacamole—all fresh, flavorful, and perfectly mild. Feeling boozy, we tried a tequila flight (blanco, reposado, and añejo). The pours are small, so unless you’re a big tequila fan, I’d stick with cocktails. The drinks here are excellent—try the Paloma, Mayahuel Fresca, or La Flor if you like a little spice. We shared the brochetas de chorizo (great bites) and the carne con chile entrée, which I highly recommend. Warm, rich, and comforting—perfect for a cold, windy day. The asada tacos are also excellent if you want something lighter. The ambiance is beautiful, especially in October with their Día de los Muertos display. Parking can be tight, but there’s a garage right next door. Pro tip: the IMAX theater is a 30-second walk away—perfect for a dinner-and-a-movie date. Make a reservation if you’re going on a weekend or during lunch/dinner hours—Mayahuel fills up fast!

Wander Lust Very nice hidden gem. Great location, overseeing Sacramento river. Indoor and outdoor seatings available. A space for rent for event with stage and its own bar. Restrooms are clean. Parking is a bit narrow between cars. Be careful if wearing high heels as it has a bit stairs to go down from parking lot to the front door of the restaurant. Best food: CAJUN PASTA!

Tayna Labissiere Located in a lovely neighborhood, this restaurant offers a pleasant experience. There was the choice of indoor or shady outdoor seating, so the Californian weather could be enjoyed in peace. There was not a long wait, however you can make reservations. The decor is beautiful and even has a grape vine crawling up the side of the gate outside. The servers were attentive to our needs, patient, and overall lovely. The food was delectable, I recommend the blueberry pancakes for brunch, the salmon burger and lamb burger for lunch. There were alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, coffees, and teas. The bathroom is neat, which is a bonus.
