5 /5 Danielle Powers: Not sure how I haven’t reviewed this restaurant already. Not a single visit that I wasn’t wowed by the food. The soups are always a must. Everything here is so solid that my friend took me there for my birthday lunch and she ordered us the special even though neither of us heard it clearly or knew exactly what was coming to the table. Doesn’t matter because it’s literally all that good. Every time. We always sit in the bar area, either inside at a high top or outside on the patio furniture. They make in house tonic for their G+T and it’s a definite fave. It’s probably not really a good thing it’s across from the office.

We have done fine dining before, but this night was unforgettable—from the food to the customer service to the atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like VIPs. The general manager personally greeted us, and they went above and beyond by customizing our menu with our names—such a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the night. The service wasn’t just professional; it was natural, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. Now, the food—this was straight out of a Food Network-level experience. Every dish was uniquely crafted, flavors we had never experienced before, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious.The wine pairings were next level, and we couldn’t stop sipping them for the taste alone! I expected greatness, but my wife was completely blown away. Located right in the heart of downtown Sacramento, near the Golden 1 Center, Camden Spit & Larder is in a perfect spot for a special night out. If you’re looking for an unparalleled dining experience with top-tier customer service, this is the place. Everyone should try this at least once—you won’t regret it!
