    Annie Wong: Last October four days after my mom’s passing, I signed up with Orangetheory Fitness. I can say without a doubt it was the best decision ever made. The classes are pivotal in the grieving process as they allow me to handle and release my emotions constructively. Getting up for the 5 or 6 a.m. classes is never a drag. Growing up, I dreaded going to the gym and now I cannot live without it. I am in the best shape of my life. Shout out to Coaches Michael, Ozzy, Anthony, Sam, and Jenna, the weekday and weekend morning crew for making the workouts enjoyable! In addition, the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The floor space is large and spacious with plenty of room to maneuver. This place has everything you are looking for!

    Rick Martinez: Aaron is a wizard! When my baseball player son started at Gamespeed he was running an 8+ sec 60 yard dash. Now he runs a 7.1!!! A full second + in about 6 mos! Phenomenal! The transformation in my son’s athleticism and his body is tremendous! If your son or daughter is not already training at Gamespeed, they need to start right away. Aaron will develop a customized plan for their specific sport. The changes will be DRAA-MATT-IC!
    Slam Dunk Academy - Concord
    May Francis Villa Raymundo: Had the opportunity to rent Slam Dunk Academy for a baby shower for about 50 people. The space was great, and the host was responsive. Things of note for those who are interested in renting the space: only one restroom available, no kitchen on site, and WiFi was not readily accessible but eventually password was provided by owner during the event when I requested due to cell phone service issues when playing/streaming music. Owner provided 25 chairs and three tables for use, as well as a blue tooth speaker. And the space was easily accessible with owners instructions. Would recommend this space to others but would have preferred a standard list of amenities available on site (microphone present but not readily available, generally WiFi is not offered) and clean up instructions so as to be better prepared as renters. Overall, generally good experience that fit our needs and the partys theme.

    kathy gozalez: The first serious issue was when my daughter’s necklace—a meaningful and personal item—was taken off by one of their temporary coaches and never returned. It was essentially stolen. I was never contacted, the necklace was never handed over to staff, and no one took any accountability. When I brought it to the owner’s attention, he was completely dismissive and rude. He offered no apology, no solution, and acted as if theft by his staff wasn’t his concern. That was a huge red flag. The second major issue was when my daughter broke her arm. I personally went to the facility and handed in a doctor’s note explaining she wouldn’t be able to attend. Despite this, they continued charging me for the months she didn’t attend. When I asked for a refund, they claimed they couldn’t do anything because I didn’t send an email—completely ignoring the fact that I had spoken to them in person and provided medical proof. They still have not made it right. What’s worse is that even some of their former coaches have said this place has a reputation for keeping money they shouldn’t and refusing to issue refunds. That’s theft, plain and simple. Between the stolen necklace and the money they refuse to return, this place has proven to be dishonest and untrustworthy. I would never recommend this school to anyone. They do not care about their students or their families—only the money.

She really enjoys the classes as well and all of the extra activities (tie dye & sleep over)! I love that she has shown great improvement in just the short time we have been attending! I can’t wait to see what is yet to come!

    Alison Youngblood: An outstanding experience for my daughters 5th birthday party! The gym staff went above and beyond to create a truly special celebration. From the initial planning stages through the actual event, their communication was excellent and professional. The party was incredibly well-organized, with staff members who clearly knew how to keep young children engaged and having fun. My daughter felt like a star throughout the entire celebration, which is exactly what every parent hopes for on their childs birthday.

    Eric Wonder: I’ve been coming to this San Pablo location since they first open the staff has always been super friendly and welcoming. Even though they don’t have a janitorial staff, employees do an amazing job at keeping the club up kept.
