2 /5 Aly Benson: Just really disappointed in the customer service here. I went in because a hat caught my eye, the sales lady really talked it up, despite me feeling like it was a little small. She told me I could always return it if I decided it didn’t fit right. Well I go in today to return it and am told they only do store credit. They pointed to a small sign hidden behind accessories at the checkout. She also stated that in Marin only department stores accept full returns, which is entirely false.
The store is very particular and not a place I would need a $90 store credit too. If you’re only offering store credit, 1. Don’t advertise the option to return something and 2. Please have the courtesy to inform shoppers when they’re checking out. I tried being as pleasant as possible, but the employee was incredibly rude and dismissive the entire time.
Also, when I searched online, the store hours are listed as 10am, they don’t open till 11.
