Ana Torbati This is the best nail salon i have been to in my life. The owners and nail technicians are so accommodating and kind. They make you feel right at home. From the moment you walk in they greet you with smiling faces and hand you complimentary beverages of your choice like mimosas, wine, water, etc. They truly care about making your experience comfortable and relaxing. The best part is that they actually listen to what you want your nails to look like and they exceed your expectations. I have already been here twice in the past month and will definitely be a regular customer!

Vivienne I’ve come to this location a few times and never had an issue. Recently I came for a gel manicure, and within a day I had chipping and lifting and it just got worse from there. I’ve NEVER had this issue before with any gel manicure. I called the salon after 3 days and explained the situation. When I come back in the front desk manager was standoffish and did not apologize, instead she had me sit down and went back to the desk and started painting her own nails. When the nail tech came over she apologized and I asked her if I could get a different color because I wasn’t sure if the gel I originally got was old. The “manager” comes over and says “no just take the bad ones off.” The nail tech grinds off the worst of the chipping and just paints over with the same polish, meanwhile the manager keeps looking over at me giving me dirty looks. I left and the manicure is still not well done, as the gel was not sealed at the tips which will cause lifting and it’s lumpy from painting over existing polish. The managers behavior was unprofessional and so was the repair.

Karla Saavedra Solara deserves more than 5 stars. I have been visiting them for 1 year, Nick and the girls are always very friendly, they do a very well job they always accommodate me in the last minute and they remind me of my appointment always.I have brought my whole family and if I could I would take everyone they are simply the best!

Rachel Flores I live in New York, where I own a hair salon in the Lower East Side. My parents live in Belmont Heights, so I come to visit often. When I’m home I always go to Gem to treat myself. I booked an appointment for my mom and myself for a pedicure and a gel removal/ manicure. To the point, I asked if the technician would not file the surface of my nails down. I said I don’t mind if they don’t last long, I just need to keep the thickness of my nail. Working with my hands, it’s extremely important that I maintain the integrity of my nails. The person continued to file them with a rough grain file. Layers of my nail were peeling off. I asked her to stop.several times. I told her it was painful. She responded by slapping my hands. Yes slapping my hands. 3 different times. I’m embarrassed to say I was shaken. I was uncomfortable. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable to speak up. I was crying and I continued to try and plead with her to stop. Then she pulled out the dremmel. That’s when I said no more. After that she was more rude to me. I left with nails that are uneven and bend when touched. One is sharp and one is flat and two have broken since yesterday. That’s all. Hope this helps

Linda Barrios A busy little shop. Pleasant people working here. Offering unique designs and polish types. I got a "cat eye" gel polish here for the first time and I really like it. Seems like theres often a wait if you walk in without an appointment, so bring your patience with you if you go!

Dave Z Ive come here a total of 12 times. And 5/12 times... I am unsatisfied days after my manicure. I will be honest, Peter is what kept me returning. He does exactly what I ask for and only what I ask for. But hes been gone for about 3 weeks now. Here are photos of my manicure / pedicure. I got done Feburary 14th. And today they look like this.. Only 7 days later. .... When I called to speak with Mimi ( the lady who did my nails she) she was rude and swore she never did a UNICORN GEL MANICIRE and that they didnt offer this nail polish there .. It wasnt til I walked in and asked if they had it which they answered yes to... But even when I took my receipt out with the date and charge on it.. They refused to remove the nail polish. Mind you I did not go in asking for a new service I only asked if they can remove ... I just find that rude....

Aga-Marie A. First time visiting, and I was a walk in at 12:30ish. Went in for a simple manicure which was $11 + $1 service fee. The pedi is $17, but decided to try that another day. One lady welcomed me and told me someone could help in a little bit. After about 5 min. I decided to look at the polishes on the wall and thats when the same lady told me I could pick a color, and after a pause later, that I could sit down at one of the stations. So I did. A guy named Tony came, cleaned and shaped my nails, and gave a mini hand massage. I was asked to wash my hands and come back. He said I should pay now so that my nails dont get ruined, which surprised me, but understandable. The girl from earlier ran my card and brought the receipt to me while he started on my nails. Because I got regular polish he said I had to keep a small desk fan blowing on them for 15 min. My fingers were freezing, but was done after that. Overall, it was an ok experience. The floors were a little dusty, but I didnt see major messes around the salon. Didnt wait too long, but there were definitely swells of busy and slow and at some points the other employees would just randomly come watch what the guy was doing to my hand when they werent busy. I didnt mind, but someone else might find it invasive. Also, some of the female employees would talk loudly, but most were pretty good about not exceeding the volume of the show on the TV. Apparently, kids get to play video games on on one of the TVs as well, so I guess it keeps little kids happy. Polish looks good with no bubbles. 6/10 would probably go again.

Michiko Wendell I have been coming to this nail salon for 10 years and under new management they are incredible. Vicky has been my nail tech for ever and I will not go to anyone else. Her perfectionism to her craft is unmatched and she is INCREDIBLE with designs. Shes so creative and will make you feel beautiful every time you leave her. Henry is my favorite to do my pedicures. His attention to detail is also unmatched and he makes such a great effort at making you feel comfortable and well taken care of while youre there. Everyone here will greet you with a smile and you wont want to go anywhere else. I highly recommend.

Earl Knox charges $12 more than others for basic pedicure , was rude , I believe I called and he said $27 but when I arrived the price was $37. I asked him twice and he said the same price and like I said , he wasnt nice.

Bobby Jackson I really enjoyed my experience here! Crystal is extremely nice and she did an amazing job on my nails. She was very careful and precise in cutting my cuticles, and I have never seen them so clean and perfect before! Other places are not as careful as she is. My favorite part of the experience is knowing how clean and sanitized the tools and the place is. They first wash the tools, put into a cleaning solution, and then put it under UV light to make sure the tools are clean. It puts me to ease knowing I will not be getting anything passed on to me. Oh actually another favorite part of coming here was receiving a hand massage. After my nails were completely dry, Crystal massaged my hand and my hand was so soft and supple after! It was definitely worth the drive down here to get my nails done at this salon. Dont be fooled by some of the other reviews due to the fact they are really out dated and that this place has changed ownership! Im so glad my first experience was good because I will definitely be coming back!

Daisy Oh wow, this place has only gotten better with the new owner! I’ve been coming here for years, and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for—a mimosa while getting a pedi? Yes, please! Carol is my go-to; she’s amazing. Tammy always gives the best pedicures, and today, I had my nails done by Kayla—she’s the best! Top-notch service all around. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I’ll definitely be sending my family and friends here!

Alicia Killings This nail spa is under new management and the owner by the name of Kayla was the one who serviced me today. Cori Sainte marie UPDATE: It’s been about two years now and we have continued going to Rex nails and having great experiences every time. Reasonable prices with the best nail artists around. I’ve been coming to Rex nails with my family for about a year now. Every experience has been more than great. They are easy to make appointments with and always quick to get us in. They always do beautiful designs for us and we always leave very happy. highly recommend rex nails to anyone!

Melany Marquez Made a last minute appointment at Rex Nails for an emergency mani and pedi before a wedding. The ladies did such an amazing job. Ivy is the nail tech who did my pedicure and she was amazing! My white gel pedicure looks flawless. Tiffany did an amazing job on my manicure. I had weak and beat up nails from a previous gel manicure at another salon. Tiffany was able to walk me through the process and did dip nails on me. She was gentle and precise! Sandra Baker The owner, Rose and her team are amazing! The nail salon is clean and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. Rose is always up to date with all the new trends and supplies. She is very creative and can help you with ideas or color choices if youre indecisive like me! I always get compliments on my nails. I live near quite a few other salons but I prefer to drive a bit farther to Red Beauty Nails because I know this salon always does a better job.

Rita Always pleasant, clean, tranquil, low voices. I appreciate that the technicians do not gossip about clients in front of clients like some other Asian owned salons. The relaxation music always calms me and almost put me to sleep today. I also like that they never overbook so that they don’t have to rush and are able to consistently provide good work each visit. Rose is the design specialist. What a great gem in Bixby Knolls!

Kristy Sauerbry Nails BB was recommended to me and I am very happy with them. I have worked with Nikki and Kylie, both are great. I recommend an appointment because they are always busy, but they do take walk ins and try to accommodate whoever they can. I typically go for builder gel and have also had a pedicure. Overall, everyone is friendly and they do great work. Nikki has done some nail art for me as well. I asked her to create dragon scales for the Onyx Storm release. She also did a cute tiny heart for Valentines Day. She has done a great job!

Brittany Drew They were accommodating and patient for my daughter and I. Especially with my desire for sparkly cat eyes when I didn’t know the term. The lady who did the cat eyes copper color has such a cool technique with the magnet. They’ve also lasted weeks and I’m rough on my nails including rock climbing and crafts.

Hanh D I’m visiting from out of town and needed a pedi for a wedding tomorrow. I was a walk in and so glad I did at Images Nails. It was so quiet and peaceful, probably one of the only nails salons ever. I was greeted by a very nice gentleman up front offered me a refreshment. And I had Mimi as my tech. I got a Gel Signature Pedicure and she did a great job! She was meticulous and thorough. I come back often and will definitely be back!

Maritza Martinez This nail salon switches owners often but the only reason I have returned is for Tammy. Tammy does amazing nails and is very sweet. Today I was taken care by another technician by the name Catherine. The service I always request is gel x. I have gotten cat nails with Tammy before and they have come out phenomenal. Today is requested them once again and I noticed one of the nails was very crooked. I pointed it out to Catherine and she gave me the lazy answer that my finger is crooked. Which it is not and her job is to make sure all the nails are nice and aligned regardless of the shape of my fingers. I asked her if she could please fix it. Catherine proceeded by giving me major attitude and even the way she grabbed my hands changed. Once she fixed it she even laughed and proceeded to speak in her native language. That is where the other technicians looked over at me and gave me a little smile. It made me very uncomfortable. It definitely threw off the vibe of the establishment and the trust between customer and nail technician. The color Catherine used what not the color I showed her at all but at that point I felt so uncomfortable to ask her to correct it. I have attached the reference picture and the nails she did. This was an 81$ set and I still tipped her $11 because I always take care of my technicians and the other ladies that have gotten me know that. I feel bad for Tammy because this place just lost a really good paying and consistent customer. Just really bad business on their behalf. I felt very mistreated.

alexxxmr I came across this salon while walking by and was greeted very kindly by everyone! I received a dip powder manicure and gel pedicure and loved the whole process. Brenda Lopez I stopped here a few days ago and was skeptical being that it’s a new salon and I am extremely picky with my nails and service. As soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by Mary and her team. She told me not to worry and trust her. And so I did and OMG I loved my nails & the service! They served me the best Vietnamese coffee, offered me chips, water, soda you name it! And yes, the chairs for pedicures do give massages. Mary did my full set and listened to everything I asked for. This is for sure my new spot! :)

Lana M I went to Los Angeles during my vacation and came across this place. I never would have thought it would turn out this good. The lady, whose name I cannot recall was extremely nice and gentle with me. She completely understood what I wanted and how I wanted it. Definitely recommend !

Alma Arias I believe her name was Honey, and she did such an amazing job on my nails! I called ahead to make sure there wasn’t a wait and she told me there wasn’t at that moment but then was kind enough to call me back to let me know that the wait would be a bit longer and that I can come at a later time if I wanted. I decided to make an appointment with her and she did an amazing job and replicated the reference picture I showed her perfectly and redid it when she wasn’t satisfied. I will definitely come back!

Tracy Chock Meas My older sister recommended me this spot and I started going ever since. I loved how Tracy (nail tech) took care of me. She is the sweetest. All the workers were nice and friendly. Definitely 5 star. (make sure you set an appointment or youll be waiting for a long time)

Alex Over priced for kids. Lady did a design on my daughters nails and didnt even bother to ask first and charged me extra after. Imagine if I didnt have the complete amount. Then when I asked for the total and complained to them they gave me attitude. First and last time coming here. Only reason I came here was because we were in this area. Dont even bother coming here. Going back to our original place where they have good customer service and dont over price.

Kyndra Peterson I absolutely love this place!! All the ladies are so nice and welcoming. I want to express special appreciation for Vivian and Linda. Vivian always does my pedicures and she is gentle, thorough, and pays attention to detail. She’s also so wonderfully creative that I feel confident in letting her surprise me sometimes with the nail color and design. I trust her completely. I also recently got my first manicure done by Vivian and I am stunned! Just absolutely beautiful nails and as always, a wonderful time with Vivian! When my boyfriend comes with, he gets his pedicure done with Linda and she always does a great job! She is also very gentle, detailed oriented, and gives a perfect leg massage. Forever grateful for these ladies!

Jackie Mountcastle Wonderful salon. Really pretty and relaxing vibe on the inside. Love the complimentary wine! All the staff are friendly and very skilled. It was my first time at Euca and my first time getting Gel-x nails. Helen did an amazing job. She was very patient with my questions and had such a great attention to detail. My nails look incredible and they looked exactly like my inspo pictures. I’ve had them for 3 weeks and they still look great! My only complaint is that the online menu of services is confusing. I didn’t clearly understand the prices of things until I was done with my appointment and paying. I knew what I had requested would be a bit more than the base price and I was happy to pay it. It just would have been nice to know upfront at the time of booking the appointment.

Her Financial Plan Relaxing, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. I made a same-day appointment for myself and grandma. I was seen right away for my pedicure, my grandma waited a few minutes for her gel-manicure. I also got full-set with design. We did not feel rushed at all, i feel like the team takes their time and i love their appointment system. My grandma felt comfortable and said the team was very nice so she wants to come back. I suggest bringing a magazine in case you end up waiting longer and dont want to drain your phone charge.

Cynthia Jones Bell Ive been going here a long time. I only get pedicures. The owner and her husband are very nice and personable. They always did a really nice job on my toes. And we got a nice little calf massage as an added bonus. Since pandemic, no more calf massage and prices have gone up. Why cut out the calf massage? I loved that part.

Dodo First time to try this salon to do hard/builder gel nails and my experience was very bad. The girl who did my nails kept cutting my cuticle to the degree that my fingers looked red, inflammed, and bleeded a lot. Also at the end, my nails looked chunky and not natural at all. It would look better if I do them at home. Waste of money. Will not try this place again. Do not recommend.

CeCe Teneal I called last week to make an appointment because I knew I’d only be in port for a few hours. They accommodated me by letting me come early - even before they opened. When I take a trip to the nail salon, THIS is the treatment that I love… I was immediately greeted upon entry and asked if I wanted water, wine, or snacks. Christine massaged my arms after completing my nails and my forehead after the eyebrow wax. She was so patient with me and very careful. My pedicure was fantastic and I upgraded to the top package that they offered. Will definitely return when I am in time. ❤️ They nailed it! P.S. I will tell you to make sure you know what you’re being charged for as they add services.

Jocelyn Kay I like this place! I came here and got my nails done and was probably 9/10 satisfied. The only reason I won’t say 10/10 was because I didn’t exactly get the shape I asked for but I also didn’t exactly make her fix it (I’m shy). The shape I got was still cute just more square then coffin. But the nails held up really nice for two weeks. Came back for a fill today and had her adjust the shape and got some new color. They look great :)

Marcie Ramos My husband brought me here looks beautiful modern clean neat loved it the first time Jennifer took care of us amazing Then I went on a Tuesday for my fills and a Younger girl came to do my fills well started too .. she was rough with my nails hurt my finger as she’s file ing to remove my gel. I see no more gel and she’s continuing I said ok she’s going to redo and put more gel my nails were oval NOT pointy as she’s file ing them so she’s done and I said I like my nails thick and u filed this nail more than what u we’re supposed too it looked thinner than the other nail and really pointy looks really different from my other hand right away she started talking in her language which I feel that is so rude speak English so I can understand what u are saying . I’m telling her my nail wasn’t like that she’s going over what I’m saying and walked away so I’m showing the nice owner and he put Lana omg she did a beautiful job wasn’t uptight or rude very humble and fixed the error the younger girl with the over sized hot pink shoes made that’s what stood out I had never in my 45 years experienced someone so unprofessional while doing my nails then she lied to the owner about what she did to my nail I’ve done my nails many!!!!!! Many years I know what removing gel and file ing is…. I was very pleased with LANA”s knowledge very impressive thank u Lana loved my nails

Rita VG López Each time I have had services - 3 times, done here, the receptionist (owner?) and nail tech attempt to upsell services I dont want; specifically pedicures and gel nails. Also, when I have expressed that the company I work for has certain standards for nail looks, Ive had to show pictures for my request to be respected. Finally, the last time I went the nail tech was quite rude. As she was struggling to remove a couple of the acrylic nails, I suggested that soaking my nails in acetone would ease the task. She furrowed her brow and stated you dont need to tell me, I have been doing this a long time. She then stated something to the receptionist (owner?) in their home language.
