Ashley Kemp Just SO bad. I saw positive review scores for this salon so came in on a Saturday an hour before closing to get dip. The woman was very clearly rushing to get through the service so resorted to improper removal, even trying to pry off my old dip residue with a plastic nail extension before I told her to stop and that I wanted to soak them off. She didn’t wrap each nail, just had me dunk my entire fingers in acetone. She then dipped my nails SIX rounds in the powder, quickly pressing any chunks in to smooth them out. I’ve gotten my nails dipped for over 5 years so red flags were waving, but she kept telling me it would be fine once she filed them down. They were not. They were lumpy and thick. Non-confrontational me was willing to suck it up and consider it a $61 ($50 dip, $1 credit card charge, $10 tip) lesson and a loss until the next morning when I woke up and in better light saw that in addition to the thickness they were also unevenly filed, my cuticle edges were a disaster, and the light blue color I had gotten was already fading into an ombré effect - white at my beds and much lighter blue toward the tips. I went back to the salon as soon as possible (Tuesday) and a man who I believe to be the manager “fixed” them for me. He kept insisting this is the color they were when I left, that he had asked me if I was ok with the color then, etc. - pretty much trying to gaslight me into thinking I was imagining a change and the manicure I had received wasn’t bad. He filed the top layer down and put the gel version of the color on top. I will admit the pigment of the gel is much better than the dip, but these nails are still thicker than a bowl of oatmeal, and somehow my edges are now worse. Should I have continued arguing with him about how this wasn’t a good service? Possibly. But I was already at the limit of my comfort in trying to rectify the situation, and a true professional would be able to recognize the issues and correct them properly. At the end of the day, I paid to be embarrassed of my nails and will find another salon to take them off and do them properly. Save yourself the time and trouble and go somewhere else for a dip. Photos show the first night, next morning fading, and final result.

Samantha Quinones My favorite nail shop in Long Beach! My friend recommended me this place and I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now. Finn always takes my inspo pictures and recreates them even better than I could hope for. He really takes his time to make sure every set is exactly what I want. When it comes to pedicures I always ask for Lee. She gets them done perfectly and quickly! The entire staff here is really friendly and they all do beautiful work. I do recommend making an appointment because they do tend to get busy especially on Friday and Saturday. Highly recommend this place!

The first time I went I was really turned off by the aesthetic of the nail salon and did not return for a couple months. The space as a whole could use a good deep clean and a few coats of paint. I tried 3 other places in Long Beach and no one could get my nails the beautiful shape that Lena does so ultimately I returned and have been happy .

MagicFaces LA Annie did my gel nails, Michelle did my signature pedicure. Both super professional & welcoming. This is my new favorite nail shop. Today was busy but they were able to fit me in without needing an appointment. They take their time to make sure everything is perfect! And have a 2 weeks no chip policy so you can return and get fixed free of charge.

Adreana Langston My nails look great but I dont think I will be returning. I paid $104 for a full set of french tip acrylics and a gel pedicure, a reasonable price by todays standards. I had already prepped my own hands and feet, including callus removal, cuticle removal and sanding and buffing. So I declined any extra services. My nails looked very good. The place was clean. The staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. I am giving 2 stars because the manicurist cut me TWICE with the drill used to sand the nails before applying acrylic. She didnt even notice the blood the first time. I had to ask her to for alcohol for the cut. She apologized and sprayed my finger. Okay fine. I have never been cut by the drill before when getting a manicure or pedicure but mistakes happen so whatever. So after cutting me once with the drill you would think she would pay closer attention. On the second hand she cut me again with the drill. And each time the cut happened, she was talking to the the woman giving me a pedicure and looking up from her glasses to glance at the woman or the salon. I mean, it was just a split second glance. But thats all it took to cut me. The woman giving me the manicure was named Vivian. The woman giving me the pedicure seemed to never take her eyes off my feet while she was working on them. When she looked up at me to talk to me, she put her tool down. When I answered her question, she picked her tool up and resumed working. THAT is the way not to cut customers. I tipped both Vivian and Helen because my fingernails and toenails both looked good. Super shiny, well shaped, all that. But Im not giving 5 stars to an establishment where the worker cut me TWICE, nor am I recommending it. There are so many nail salons in Long Beach where I have never been cut.

Susannah Holiman I came into town (from out of state) for a day with my sisters. Eva’s Nail Salon was able to get us in with no problem! We made a reservation for 3 people. When we came in there were only 2 nail artists available to work on us: Ellen and Sushi! We all got gel nails (such a great price at $30). What would have made our experience better? Having a 3rd nail artist available at the time of our appointment as opposed to just getting started after my sisters had finished. Sushi and Ellen were very fun to talk to and they made our experience a good one. They made it a point to talk to us as opposed to just talking to each other (which is what I’ve experienced elsewhere). This salon also has punch cards that go towards discounts on a service! Get your nails done here- you won’t regret it!!

Amy Conway I wanted to love this place as much as everyone else. The woman that gave me my pedi did an excellent job. However, the woman who did my nails rushed, didnt you cuticle cream, my nail corners were not filed smoothy and did a very poor job of applying the gel, it was uneven, had some bubbles, abd was on my cuticles. I complained only to have it "fixed" to the same status. Then my I went for my bikini wax! The curtains had gaps open to the salon, employees were walking in and out for supplies being exposed to customers. Then then a wax was applied abd the woman was pulling it off bit by bit. It was extremely painful. I kept telling her to STOP and pushing her hands away. She then pushed my hands away telling me to let her finish. She was not using the proper wax. I had to tell her what to do. I had to tell her to use powder, and to change thr wax and use strips. The then said "oh easier". Im burnt and missing some skin. Oh, by the end of the day my gel nails are flaking off. A waste of $155.00

Lark Masluk Lovely mani-pedi experience, and I chose the most simple option for both. Needed a natural look to go with my Galadriel costume for a Halloween party, and very happy with the outcome. Same color for toes and fingers - I believe it looks like a warmer pink on my toes because the skin is more pale, but I did get gel for the fingers and regular for the toes so maybe that made a difference? I think the color was 058, in case that helps anyone :)

Audrey Ngo I stumbled upon this super chill nail spot in Long Beach for my grad nails and its seriously underrated! I went in kind of clueless about what I wanted, but Mindy was patient with me. She helped me pick out this light pink chrome look that would be perfect for such an occasion. I was still on the fence about it, so Mindy offered to try it on one nail first. She even showed me different charms because I was thinking about adding some sparkles to it. I ended up keeping it simple to match my grad outfit. Im so glad I found this hidden gem. They also do lashes, but you have to book it in advance. They are doing 15% off all services right now, so its the perfect time to swing by and check them out! I highly highly recommend this place! The shop just opened, so there are not a lot of reviews yet, but trust me! You will not be disappointed!

My friend’s tech noticed her nails were thick and re did them and they still came out bad she even cut her trying to fix them. Even the gel was left thick on my own nails. Pedicure lady did a great job but I overall left this place extremely disappointed. This place was empty when I arrived, I should have known better. Please don’t waste your money!

Sharday Reed Another wonderful experience! I decided to allow my natural nails grow out a few months ago while getting fills on my sets with tips. I was able to do that thanks to the delicate care Mimi takes with my nails. I now get dip powder over my natural, long, healthy nails. I still get the cutest designs, so no sacrifices there. This Valentines Day set is my 3rd with my natural nails and I couldnt be happier with them. Phancy Nails and Spa for the win get again!!

Karen Came here while on vacation and had an incredible experience. I loved being able to book my appointment online. They called to confirm, which was so great. I got a gel pedicure and acrylic refill with gel polish - they had two techs available to work on me at once. I felt I had their full attention and I was in and out in one hour! The deluxe pedicure was worth the money for the scrub and massage alone. Will def come back here the next time Im in Long Beach.

lucy so cute and close to the reference picture! didn’t take long at all but a bit pricey for what I got. this was $90, $20 each hand for the gems/ design, and $50 for the standard set. the nail tech accidentally filed some of the skin on my nails which wasn’t the best, but overall the set was really cute and I liked them!

I have a hard time finding a nail place I like. I’m way too picky and always end up doing my own nails at home. I’m so happy I came here. Both of the nail techs (Fenny & Ana) did my Gel-X Medium Stiletto nails & Gel Pedicure and they were both so sweet. I loved my experience and I will definitely be back. Audrea B I love Milano nail lounge. Don the guy that sets appointments and takes payment is amazing. He always has an upbeat attitude and makes sure throughout your appointment your needs being met. Here they have so many colors designs and capable nail techs. I normally find 1 at most shops that can accommodate my needs here there are at least two nails techs i love. They are fast and precise. For this design, she freehanded it based on my vision because I couldn’t find an exact reference—it turned out perfect! She’s incredibly talented and such a perfectionist in the best way. Instead, she gave me a full set on my natural nails. Not only it was painful to get my nails done, but it was not done right. I have 3 cuts from her. I was uncomfortable the whole time. The nail drill she used was painful. My hands still are in pain from the cuts. She made one hand of my nails shorter than the other hand. I paid $65 for my set. I was not satisfied with my service nor my tech.

Gloria Gomez What a nice experience! I was having such a stressful morning and decided to treat myself to a pedicure. Immediately, greeted with such friendliness. I got a spa experience and I wish I had taken a picture of the menu but it came with callus remover, paraffin wax, a massage, scrub, orange and cucumber rub, lavender everything, and they offer a complimentary drink to all customers. I felt so good and relaxed and it made up so much for the morning I was having. I spoke with Louis who told me they Glow Nails is under new management and completely renovated with their grand opening at the beginning of February 2025. I dont know how it was before but it is a beautiful and amazing experience now. The service I got is $75 with gel nails and 100% worth it. I should have gotten more names because the Roman who did my pedicure was so nice and kept checking to make sure I was okay and that everything was going okay. There was another woman, who Ill call the mama bear of the salon, who was a amazing as well
