Mia Ramirez My mom and I got our nails done by Krystal, and what can I say--- the service was poor quality. Truly, if I could give zero stars, I would. We were both cut with what seemed like a used and worn out nail file. Most importantly, in my moms case, the "final product" was horrible. The manicure was not the same design she asked for, and the nail polish was outside of the nail itself, therefore, making the whole thing messy. Lastly, the other manicurist who was working during the time we were there cursed so much. I dont mind if youre the cursing type, but dont be yelling it around clients. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Kaylia H I just want to start off by saying Aron Scott you are by far the BEST stylist that my two daughters and I had ever had ! I was really unsure what to expect with going somewhere new because I have a hard time trusting other people with my hair but He really showed compassion and patience with us . My daughters and I had a self care and bonding day today and it was amazing to experience the great amounts of kindness from him ! I would definitely recommend LUXE REPUBLIC SALON to anyone who is looking for a new hairstylist or is new in this area . This salon has a great atmosphere, friendly staff but most of all they know what they are doing ! .

Sai D Izak is just too good. I went in not really knowing what I wanted, that is just how I am. He walked me through his thoughts and asked for my input. To preface , my hair is no walk in the park to work on, it’s straight and kind of unruly. But he is like some kind of hair wizard. He knows exactly what looks good and how to work with your hair. He has such a calm and gentle personality that just makes you feel comfortable. During the consult and cut he tells you what he’s doing and why it works. If I had a notebook I’d be taking notes. Overall, 10/10 service, 10/10 haircut 10/10 consult! I will go to him for all my hair needs. This has been the best experience I’ve ever had.

Sofia Gonzalez Izak has been doing my hair for over five year and I continue to be please with the result he give with my hair. I have had short long, colored, highlights and balayage. And his hours are flexible, I mean who is willing to meet you at 6 in the morning? Not many. I feel fabulous walking into work with my new hair on those days. Thank you Izak.

David Stubblefield I have had my hair cut here a couple times by Gage, always super friendly service and every time I go my wife comments on how good my hair looks. The vibe of the shop is old-school barbershop, but they provide pretty much every kind of service for both men and women. Anyway, really like this place and I highly recommend it.

Maaay Yaaaj What I asked for and what I got. Was really hoping itll be similar, but nope... went in with virgin hair as well. Total was $232 with a 5 mins hair trim ($45).

Ron Duncan Jr Got a recommendation for Gage & tried the shop out today for the first time. The fade & beard trim were handled PERFECTLY! Five out of five stars! I’ll be back for sure!!!

Daisy Castillo Booking an appointment was very easy through the website and pricing was straightforward. I was able to have my hair cut and styled by Jordan. She did an incredible job and her attention to detail is impeccable! I love my new hairstyle and it’s growing out beautifully. The shop itself is located near Main Street and is so cozy! Definitely a new favorite for me. :)

Dianna Bard I go to Alicia who works there an shes great!! She works miracles with long hair, styles short hair to match the persons face so it always looks so cute, professional or whatever you are trying to achieve. She has been well trained in mens hair cuts and has a lot of male clientele, little kids she is terrific with them in getting them to sit still and feel like they are part of the action and they laugh and enjoy the haircut. You cannot go wrong using her as your stylist.

mackenzie blincow I had the most wonderful experience coming to the lotus salon. I originally placed an appointment here when a lot of the other salons in the area were completely booked out and they got me in on very short notice. The nail tech Cat did the most beautiful job on my nails!! I have never had a nail tech who has taken the time to make sure my nails come out perfect or paid so much attention to detail. I will continue to come back here time after time.

Rose Andino Cat is an amazing nail tech! She squeezed me in last minute, and did a fantastic job with my nails. I got almond Gel X red French tips. She was very sweet and good to conversation with. She was also very accommodating and took her time to make my nails perfect. Highly would recommend, a definite 10/10

Sierra Vargas Significantly good customer service! There ladies here are very kind and welcoming. Make you feel at home. Very clean environment. These kind ladies offered me snacks and drinks throughout my time here, witch was a few hours! On top of that, Im tender headed badly lol, and didnt have to mention it once because these hair stylist are so gentle and care for your liking. I was indecisive about my hair towards the end and they did anything possible to make me leave with a smile on my face, witch I most certainly did! 10/10 I highly recommend coming here❤️

Barbara Calley Vanity Rose Salon has become my salon home. I get my hair done with rhe owner, Kat. She is kind, attentive and funny! She really listens to my needs and concerns, and gets it right every time. Not to mention her amazing head massages! I highly recommend Kat and her salon!

Stephanie Martin-Ward Kat and the other stylists in the salon always do a great job. They keep a very clean and welcoming salon. I have very thick, curly hair and I am super particular with who cuts and colors it. Kat gives me a really rich brown that I love. Recently my sons have wanted their hair done by stylists rather than barbers and so theyve seen Aurora and Marsha, both with great results. I highly recommend Vanity Rose. Best salon in town as far as Im concerned.

Crystal Sbrega I have been a longtime fan and customer of Kats work! She is one of the few stylists who just "get it". She knows exactly what I want with very little instruction (like she knows me better than I know myself). I am very particular with my hair and I only trust her to make any kind of major changes. Salvador Avelar-Lopez Hands down the best place to get a cut in Merced. Everyone here is super chill and welcoming, the barber shop is spacious and cooled during the hot summer days. They always have music playing, and with the paintings around the shop, the vibes are great. I have thin, straight hair, so it’s difficult to get a cut from someone who knows how to cut my type of hair. Fortunately, I get my hair cut by Robin, who does amazing work. Every barber here has different prices, but they are all highly skilled in what they do. Booking an appointment is also extremely easy by using their website. Overall, they have the best prices for the quality they do and are the best place to get a cut in Merced by a mile.

Ri Its hard for me to trust people with my hair but I had a good experience with them last time, so I decided to come again. I booked my appointment with Charla on Jan 21st for 1pm. Shes phenomenal, so skilled. Charla worked fast, but she was precise n careful. She made it look so effortless to cut hair. Shes been doing this for 30 years, I think, she said ^.^ But i LOVED my haircut. I hardly get haircuts, but im trying lmao i was sooo happpyyy n couldnt contain my excitement when i got home Charla also did me a favor and used the thinning shears, i believe, to make the top layers more lighter since i have thick hair. i didnt ask, she just knew what to do (she did let me know) She gave me EXACTLY what i wanted and made it suit my face so good (obviously i did my own research beforehand on what my face shape is and what would suit it best). I asked for a short side bang, short layers & to keep my length. Then, I showed her 9 reference photos that I had ready. She said my reference photos looked like a long shag so thats what i went for. Christy DeVasier Went to get my eyelashes done and OMG BIGGEST mistake I have ever done the lady just dipped the lashes in glue and shoved them on my eyes and then cut them and they are uneven and just blobbed on my eyes...DO NOT GO HERE for eyelash extensions!

Liliana Dominguez Im in the national guard and really needed to get my nails shortened. My sister scheduled an appointment over the phone for us. We drive out from Los Baños (1 hr drive) and were so excited. Space is so beautiful and we sit down, the girl looks at my nails and looks at me. Says they dont do acrylic, I say thats fine just remove the fill and Ill be fine with gel. She says she cant because theres not enough time? Its 70 mins before they close. She said removing the fill counts as 1 service and the actual manicure is separate. Bare in mind, I have to guide the conversation. She isnt freely explaining anything to me. I had to ask all the right questions to get answers from the worker or else I wouldve sat in more awkward silence. They didnt offer us any credit or any apology or any rescheduling. We told them it took us an hour to get to our appointment and they didnt care. Gave 2 stars for the space. O for the service.

Lace Padilla I just received an excellent massage from Nancy! Ive been going to a place in Fresno for the last year, as I didnt realize there were comparable services in Merced. I was thrilled to find that Nancy was fantastic and could help me with areas my prior massage therapist didnt notice. Im excited to have regular bodywork closer to home and of higher quality. I also love that I can book services online.

Vanessa Iniguez I had a wonderful first time visit. I had a pedicure with Mackenzie and she was wonderful! Very fun lovely person. I enjoyed the pedicure very much. The spa is very beautiful inside, feels refreshing and airy. They have a lot of jewelry, hair products and accessories, candles and beautiful gift options inside as well. I highly recommend if you want to feel relaxed and at home at a salon/spa.

Reyna Travesia She doesn’t know how to do your hair especially with my extensions cuz I have to use stuff in my hair right now because of how bad the glue of the extensions was and I would take a shower Every day so please I recommend to not go there because she will mess up your hair!!! And I payed $580 dollars for my hair to get messed up
