Diane Gotti I have been going to Mia at Elle Salon for over 10 years now. She is the best i have ever had at cutting and highlighting my long hair. My hair wouldnt be as long as it is if it werent for her. My hair looks great every time I leave this salon. It is very modern, bright and everyone is friendly.

Steph Thomas I Have been coming to Elle Salon for the last 13 years. I love this place. Kim has been my stylist during that time and she is the best. She takes time to do my hair after hours since my busy schedule doesnt allow me to come on the weekends. If Kim has ever been on vacation or if I need a quick style or cut, I have seen other stylists such as Tracie and Eva. They are also fantastic. Every stylists that works here is very talented and every client leaves looking fabulous. I love the new location in the Edinger plaza. The salon is gorgeous and extremely trendy. The staff is very friendly and nice to all of the clients and it makes for a great experience. I love Elle Salon.

Colleen Morales I come to this location because I follow Brianna where ever she goes. I explained to my daughter that Brianna is the only one I trust because not everyone cuts curly hair good. Either way, my daughter came out a whole new person LOL. It was a great cut, and the shop was super clean as well. Theres ample parking since its in a strip mall type area. Brianna and the shop highly recommended.

Sara Williams Loved it! I just had a baby and let things go, Jo Jo did an amazing job! The wash was Amazing, and his blow drying skills are mesmerizing! Im just thrilled with the outcome. Everyone there seemed nice and the atmosphere is very good. Would recommend him to a friend!

Diane Drysdale Billie has been cutting my hair for several years now and always does a great job! Weve covered everything from long layers to my current super short style. She even did my updo for my wedding last year. I always bring a picture of what Id like and she gets it. Very creative and talented! I followed her from her previous salon and I like this new place too. Its nice and bright, beautifully decorated. Couldnt be happier.

Krystal Nguyễn Thao really made me feel like she cares about it my hair, my routine, and my goals. She asked questions and for old pics of how I liked my hair previously. I’d never had a hairstylist ask me about my hair before so it was such a pleasant surprise. She was also upfront about what she thought would work for my face shape and hair so I respected that a lot. I brought a book to read but I didn’t need it at all. Thao was fun to converse with and the time passed quickly! I have straight black hair and came in for a textured lob and balayage. I also wanted someone who would understand Asian hair. Super happy with the results! Thanks Thao!

Amanda Lee Dyed my hair for the first time over a month ago. I wanted something low maintenance but not too subtle, and Thao gave fantastic advice about the balayage coloring, was up front about the price and time required, worked incredibly quickly, and was a pleasure to chat with the whole time. Will be back :)

Robyn Timmons I just recently moved to the area and had been searching for a stylist for cut/color/highlights on my very long, thick hair. I found Paul and he was great with working with my hair that was very long overdue for maintenance! I have a very specific unstructured, choppy haircut that he was able to execute and also helped with with deciding and giving his opinion on colors for my hair that had grown out extensively and still had old color throughout. Hes very passionate about his work and strives to make sure his clients are happy before they leave. Price was incredibly affordable. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

K Amy is such a gem! I love her massages when she washes my hair; its so relaxing. She does a wonderful job cutting, highlighting, and styling my hair, too. Her prices are very reasonable. Shes by appointment only. The place is clean and theres plenty of parking in front.

I didnt have an appointment, however, a stylist was available. Now I can say I found my new stylist. Crystal was amazing. Faith Schmidt This is not an accredited business. These people tried to scam me today gave me a price on the phone and then after I showed up tried to charge me extra. I asked them what the difference in pricing was for. They refuse to answer. Elizabeth and Sara are working. The overweight lady has her make up done like a preschooler, I can’t imagine trusting her with my hair. They had absolutely no business when I walked in and no clients and I can see why. I have requested for a manager to reach out.

Guru Dentistry of Irvine Luy and Monica are the best hairstylist anybody could ask for. I have been coming to do my hair color with Luy for the last 2 years and his work is like magic! Mind you I have jet black hair and he is able to transform it to a perfect light color that i desire, and theres no damage and long lasting result. I get compliments on my hair every single day. Angel Couture Absolutely adore this salon and all the girls in it. Golden Hour has become a place for me to come in and relax while getting luxurious treatments. I always leave looking AND feeling amazing. The ambiance is incredible and well crafted by owners Kayla and Shelby. They poured their whole hearts into this salon and it shows. They have a team of talented stylists, always have great music playing and provide a variety of snacks and drinks including delicious coffee. Over the years Kayla has not just become my hair stylist but also a friend. I wish nothing but success for these girls, they have without a doubt earned it! 10/10 will ALWAYS recommend Golden Hour!!!

Andrea Chavez Amazing service, great spot to relax and unwind when you want to get your hair done and next to the beach. Cute salon, very artfully decorated, and clean. My hair is incredibly challenging by having the blessing of having three heads of hair with how much hair I have haha and my appointments mainly are a whole day occurrence however my hair stylist Melissa is a great conversationalist. I am a long term client of Melissa for ongoing two years and not only does she give me everything I ask for but well exceeds my expectations every time. I highly recommend this salon!

Samantha Mumford Hairstylist Kimberly Huckaby, owner of Mood Swings Hair Salon, who has her new salon in Pacific City, after having a salon for decades downtown HB, is the best! She is very on point with what you want and makes sure she gets your hair done just like you want it! She makes you feel comfortable, not awkward, and super friendly, you can definitely tell this is her passion. She just moved her salon here, so it isn’t posted I don’t think, but you can Google her name and Mood Swings Hair Salon for more info, 100% recommend! She is down to earth and just all around good person and she is very talented with everything to do with hair!

Dimple Patel I absolutely love Pro Hair Design. I’ve been getting my haircut there since 2020 and have recommended it so many people. I’ve had Danny and Christine cut my hair and they’re both great. Christine usually cuts my hair and she is so sweet. She will ask what I want, give her rec and talk through what would look best, and explain things along the way. Highly recommend this place! The price is also very reasonable for a wash, cut, and style!

Faye Reyes-Putich This was the first time that Vikki has done my hair and trying Pro Hair Designs. I now know that Vikki is the lady to go to for cut and color! I had become tired of my bob and wanted a a more layered look as I grow out my hair. Vikki added some layers and reshaped my hair into a flattering but low maintenance style. I also hadn’t colored my hair since 2019 so I wanted some partial highlights that would look naturally blended with my gray hair. Vikki expertly highlighted thin strands of medium ash blonde into my black hair and it looks totally natural. I’ve been receiving compliments since I left the salon.

Kainoa Smith Vicky did an amazing job, she did a balayage after I had grown out highlights. She also evened out my hair and did face framing. She payed very close attention to detail. Very pleased and will be going back :) I will put before and after pictures

Trisha Daly I went here for the first time and I had the lady do my hair and she messed it up so bad that Danny had to do my hair. Because it had already been died once once they then use a temporary hair dye to Cover it up and did not tell me. When I went home and washed my hair it washed out and my hair was orange. I called them and left a message telling them what had happened I did not know they used temporary hair dye. They did not tell me. They did not believe me and asked me to send pictures. So I went back a third time to have my hair fixed again and this is when they told me that they use temporary hair dye last time. I will never go back to them again.

Shanie McCullough LOVE this cute little salon right in the heart of downtown Huntington Beach. I brought my daughter here for a trim and she ended up putting some fun temporary color in her hair. JC took great care of her and she “doesn’t want to go anywhere else ever again”. Needless to say, it was worth the drive from LA and we will be coming back.

Elyssia Schultz Really appreciate this guy for getting my son immediately in there as a walk in. He had really long hair and this guy did an amazing job layering it all out and cleaning it up! Emily Moholick JC continued to keep the salon open at least one day after the stay in shelter order putting Huntington Beach residents at risk. I am asking that the landlord change the locks on the salon to ensure the stylists who rent space are not entering. I empathize with the loss in business, but it is not worth losing lives.

Jessica I had an appointment at Hair Theory December 21, 2024 with Margaret. From the moment I went into the salon I love how she is very attentive about her clients. She asked me about my hair color and my hair cutting as to how short am I going to get it done. Told Margaret what I wanted and she execute everything to perfection. She cut my hair and gave me a nice cut around my face giving me more volume. I love how she cuts my hair. I would totally recommend her. Bimia Hammel I have been going to Meleesa’s Salon since she opened. Ive had just about every service they offer at one time or another and use the products they sell exclusively. I had my bridal party there for hair and makeup almost five years ago as well. Currently, I get my hair done by Meleesa and my eyelashes from Aubrey and Melissa. They are the absolute best! All of them. The feeling of calm always washes over me the moment I walk in the door and I know the women there create that environment organically and without thought. They are beautiful humans and I adore them all dearly. Every time I leave there I feel and look my best both inside and out.

I love that the products used are all sustainable as well as most current and trending. Meleesa, the owner, is so sweet and has owned her little shop for 15 years. All her stuff is sustainable from properly disposing of the hair to the vegan products they use, not to mention she specialized in textured hair. She made my mermaid hair dreams come true! Diane My mom is a vibrant 90 plus woman. Always looking for an actual salon for her has been a challenge. But I did take her to this amazing salon in HB Old World. The stylist was professional, we showed examples of what she wanted and the stylist Tam delivered! I can’t tell you the joy that this brought about to my mom. Susanne Desmond I followed Anthony here from his previous Salon several years ago, and must admit, I would never have anyone else “do” my hair. i trust Anthony implicitly to take care of my thinning, processed hair one hundred percent. He knows the current trends and he will tell me gently, without pressure when I need an update. I go to Salon Muse to get my roots touched up around every four to five weeks and always have a wonderful experience. I get a trim and Brazilian Blowout when needed and had extensions put on when I accidentally burned off some hair with a misuse of hot tools. Everyone at the Salon is friendly, engaging and genuinely kind. The Salon is always extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and smells amazing. The music plays at an appropriate level and even with all the other stylists working, it never seems too loud. I’ve never had to wait, and I truly cannot say how highly I recommend this Salon.

Joyce Beatty-Hull Lizzy has been my stylist for over 25 years. She is professional, kind, patient and always does whats best for my hair. No matter what ideas I toss her way, she has such a high skill level, my hair always comes out perfect. Im not great at styling my hair on my own. But,the was she cuts my hair, makes it easy to style...even for me! Katie is Lizzys assistant. She is sweet, friendly and also so professional and talented. I live almost 2 hours away from their salon, and its well worth the drive. I get my hair colored, I have extensions, and v lite applications. I love my hair and get so many compliments. Most people dont even know I have extentions in because they are so professionally done. I would recommend Lizzy and Katie, and actually anyone who works at Salon Muse. The Salon is beautiful, all the staff are great and it feels like a spa day every time I get my hair done. I recommend Salon Muse and especially Lizzy and her assistant Katie to everyone.
