The Upstairs Salon - Huntington Beach Diane: My mom is a vibrant 90 plus woman. Always looking for an actual salon for her has been a challenge. But I did take her to this amazing salon in HB Old World. The stylist was professional, we showed examples of what she wanted and the stylist Tam delivered! I can’t tell you the joy that this brought about to my mom. The people at the Upstairs Salon are professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. She had a great time and I’ve already made her second appointment and will continue to bring her there. I only wish I did this sooner. Thank you stylists at the Upstairs Salon.
DG Salon - Huntington Beach Caitlin Neske-Thomas: I had such high expectations for this place, especially with going to high school with some of them and hearing about them being the best for prom hair, coloring hair and so on. I tried getting extensions done, had the consult and made appointment for installation. This would’ve been my first time getting extensions. I drove from Northern Nevada to Huntington Beach, CA because of how much I thought this place would be the best. Following my consult, I had additional questions so I sent them over via text which they said was ok to do. Instead of answers I get informed the next day the extension company is CURRENTLY out of stock for the color I wanted and length. Instead of offering different ways to make this work, I get an I’m sorry and no further response. No offer of going a different length, no offer of coloring the extensions, no offer of trying to stay in communication with the extension company and seeing when that color would be back in stock. Nothing. Massive let down. Almost as if they never wanted to do this for me in the first place and were just going through the motions. Not the best customer service. I could’ve been a regular. Extensions are not cheap and that’s money to you and your business. Especially with the upkeep appointments that would have to be made. Maybe because I’m not in their click or popularity. I’m not an HB girl anymore. I don’t look like them…I don’t know but major let down.
Huntington Beach Hair Company - Huntington Beach Rania Basalious: Bad place. I had a bad hair cut and they took 60 dillars because my hair is tall to wash, dry and style. They said to me your hair is tall and will take more shampoo and more work. Which is not very tall at all. Keep talking about money. I even get out of there with my hair looks like nothing happened to it.
The bane in my hair in front has a cut in half of my forehead and the other half of my forehead side has no bane no cut at all. Not only this mistake and I can come to show it to you.
Didnt discover till I went home. And my friends start to tell me on the party that there is something wrong in my hair cut.
Once i got out of door my hair turned to be very frizzy. I look at my car mirror and I told my self may be i can calm it down at home. I never have this bad experience at all before. Usually it will stay good even for one day.
The charge was double the price which is Two reservations on groupon.
My hair not very thick and not very long. I didnt went to place before which charged me double the price saying that my hair is long and will take more shampoo. You should add this to the groupon.

Elements Salon Studios Huntington Beach - Huntington Beach Just Raye: I took my daughter into the Elements Salon Studios in HB to get her hair done for school. Stephanie is so sweet and listened to both myself and my daughters wants for her new look. Stephanie did such and amazing job.
