Lilian Rios As soon as you walk in you can feel the sense that you are going to be taken care of. Everyone greets you and helps you get to the correct person you’re there to get the service from. I have been going for years and Michelle Renae is an amazing person that helps you feel and look beautiful with getting your lashes done to waxing your eyebrows. I bring my daughters here also to get their eyebrows wax and haircuts as well. Every person is that salon are very talented from, Maria, to Tasha, to Aldo and Michelle P. I recommend everyone to go and experience it. FYI the view is also beautiful.

VC Armory Michelle is THE best. Amazing team, clean, organized. We utilize her for her waxing services and she never disappoints. If you’re looking to support a woman owned business that always leaves you looking your best, this place is for you!

Nadine Nunez My daughter got married on July 7, 2017 there in Oxnard. I called several beauty salons In search of someone who could come out to the hotel where we were staying to style my daughters hair for her wedding. We didnt know any beauticians there since we are from Phoenix. So I called Gigis salon, and spoke to Gabi. With no hesitation she said that shed be delighted to do the job. We communicated via cell phone, and we met her the day before the wedding. She came to the room as planned and not only was she able to style the brides hair, but she also styled the maid of honors hair, the flower girl, my moms hair, and mine as well. Her prices are reasonable and her work was truly amazing. We were all so very happy with the job she did. Oh and she styled it the way we asked her to which was a plus. We highly recommend her! Gabi is fantastic!

ana banana Esme was really nice and sweet. I knew she had a bit of hard time doing my brows but the result was amazing. My friends love my eyebrows. I received compliments a lot. I recommended them to try and be beautified by Esme.

maritza martinez I would 100% recommend Esme.Since my very first appointment to my touch up she’s always been very welcoming and very friendly and just overall a very good person guides you through the process and still after explains what you need to keep your brows looking great. Her salon is very cute and just overall great atmosphere. You will not regret letting her bless your eyebrows like she did mine. Michael G My wife was so thankful for Esme, she did a great job doing her brows. She was very insecure about getting them done but Esme was so helpful and made her feel so comfortable with the whole procedure. She also took her training and definitely loved it. I recommend that if anyone is looking for a trainer for brows she is the best.

sally mac A what a very nice salon, pretty and clean and nice and open. My husband goes there regularly so I thought I would try it out since it’s close to us. I’m so glad I did. Lexi (Alejandra) colored my hair today and did a fabulous job. She spent so much time with me getting the color absolutely perfect and I’ve spent ages trying to get it to this light a shade without being yellow. Their prices are reasonable and everyone in the shop seems really nice. I definitely recommend this salon.

V It was my birthday. Haven’t gotten my hair done in 3 years because I’ve been raising my two small ones. Hairstylist wasn’t done with the lady before me who was complaining about price. She cut off all my dead ends which was like 6 inches then didn’t touch my hair for over an hour. Made an appointment too and showed up early, because I was excited to talk to someone other than my kids. No one spoke to me or checked on me and I ended up running to the bathroom crying. Hairstylist said she would make it up to me. We chatted and I started to feel better. I thought my hair came out good. I liked the color , the haircut was ok not what I really asked for and it was uneven. Feel dumb tipping $60 on top of the $250 she charged me. She said she would get my number and reach out to me make sure I liked it but that never happened. But it was the worst hair salon experience of my adult life.

DIVERGE Excellent haircut, despite it simply being the sides and back. She used scissors and hand-cut the sides. I cant say enough about this place! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted. I was directed in their procedure of signing in and after I sat down the manager or owner (not sure) sat with me and talked to me about anything and everything. These are truly GOOD PEOPLE. God bless that family and the employees of this store. Everyone was kind to me and very professional.

S. Augustine If I could give them 1/2 star I would. Maureen was so sweet. But honestly, Lucia had no idea what she was doin to my hair. So my story..... Yesterday I needed my hair done last minute. I havent done anything to my hair in almost 2 years tryin to make it come back after my daughter. I took a picture which I had to show her like 6 times and she still got the color wrong for my hair! She kept askin Silvia to check everything because she couldnt seem to figure it out herself. I shouldve known then to get out. She didnt blend in my highlights very well there are large sections in the top of my hair. At least the layering was done well. Dont go here for your color!!!! - If you do, Sylvia only!

Violet Pantoja I asked for my hair cut 1/2inch below the shoulder and she cut my hair only half way and refused to cut the rest of my hair to my request. I got home showered and brushed my hair and then noticed it was uneven and paid $26. So sadly I will not be returning.

Josue Solano I recently visited Couture Hair Salon for a perm, and I couldnt be happier with the experience! The lady who did my perm was incredibly experienced and skilled. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered fantastic results. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the staff. Everyone was so kind hearted and attentive, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Its clear that they truly care about their clients. I wouldnt go anywhere else other than this salon. I’ll be back!

Abraham Morales Gabby was very friendly and very welcoming. I loved the vibe when I first walked in. I asked for a simple haircut and I ended up with a haircut plus a washing of my hair. Highly recommended to anyone who is interested in a hairstylist.

Music Is Magic Went in the day after my birthday asking for blonde highlights and ash toner. If anything, I definitely wanted the brassy tones out of my hair. What I got, was very thin light highlights which are barely visible, and the toner that was spread all over my roots turned a dark RED. Although the salon was adorably decorated for Easter, was extremely unhappy with my hair color. When I called to let the stylist know I was unhappy with how the color turned out, she offered to put "More Toner" which is what turned my hair RED in the first place. I ask for BLONDE. Will not be visiting this Salon again. She charged $200 dollars for this.

Elizabeth Connelly Just had my hair cut by Kayla, and man was I impressed! Amazing environment provided and also meeting the owner Daisy was a great as well. Such a great environment, extremely intimate. Not only did she give me tips and tricks on how to take care of my hair. And I made another appt to ensure I see Kayla for my hairstyling needs! Evelyn Erazo I appreciate the communication with Daisy, the owner of the salon. We had to reschedule and she was very accommodating. She went above and beyond by giving me multiple options if I wanted my haircut for that specific day. She responded fast and worked with me! I haven’t had that kind of communication in another salon and you can tell she cares about her clients!

Emilio Balcazar This was going to be my new favorite barber shop, but my last experience was suspicious. She forced me to bend down my neck as much as I could, my neck hurt for few days and when I was going to pay I noticed the machine she charged $20 to the previous guy but she charged me $24. I got a regular fade cut. My first time at this shop was last year and it was the best because her assistant did my haircut like a pro, I liked it so much that I gave her a tip. I kept coming back in hopes that the assistant was still there but no. The owner seems friendly but dont tell her where you work or how much you earn, I think she takes advantage of some customers. You can find another barber that can cut the same regular fade for $15 or a pro licensed for $30

Luis Angel Ramos My favorite “barber” shop for years now. Nadia the stylist is great. She’s been the one person I trust to cut my hair for a long time now. She’s very pleasant and does an excellent job - very fair prices too which is a big plus. Never had to wait more than about 15 minutes when I go for a cut.

Ronnie I love Cassandra! I dont come often but Ive been a client for a few years now with Cassandra. She remembers me every time even if I only come once a year. She has a great personality, always makes me feel comfortable. She does great work. I wont go anywhere else. She really goes above and beyond the price she charges me for.

Makenna Kern I went here for simple highlights and was there from 9am-2pm. She put brown toner in my hair and got it all over my forehead, did not clean it off my forehead just let me walk out of the salon with it all over my forehead. She pulled half my hair out trying to brush it and was it was not gentle at all. If I could give it zero stars I would. I was highly unsatisfied and will never go back there again. I paid twice as much as I pay for highlights back in my hometown. I would not recommend this place to someone I hate, they are very un professional.

Latoya Jones I have been going to Ms. Nae_Styles for a little over a year now! I came to her with my hair struggling. I had just did the big chop and was in desperate need of a professional to help me grow my hair back, As i had chopped my hair off within an inch of its life. I was so discouraged at that time, but when i was fortunate to find Ms. Nae that quickly changed! Fast forward 10 months later, my hair had not only grown back but it surpassed its original length! its now in the middle of my back! And i wouldnt have been able to do it without her! Ms Nae is more than your average stylist! She an innovator, and a creator! What sets this beautiful woman apart from other stylist is not only is she skilled in black hair, she can do all textures of hair! She also has her very own line of hair care products! Most importantly, she genuinely cares about her clients! she is such a kind soul. When you get your hair done by her your not just getting your hair done! Its an EXPERIENCE! She will make your scalp feel like no one else can! You may even fall asleep its so relaxing. Shes gentle as well. Its never painful when shes braiding. Most importantly my hair holds up for months! I could go on an on about this extraordinary woman! Dont think twice! she is the only person i recommend in Oxnard Ca. Shes truly a stylist for the people! Book her NOW! Thank me later ;)

Jazsmne Harrison I attended Nae’s first (of many I hope!) beginner’s braiding class and it was GREAT! The location and set up was super convenient, the music was BOMB, and she even provided light refreshments. She literally broke down everything from the history of braiding down to using beads and charms in the hair. I STRUGGLED with the cornrow concept but she literally spent 1-1 time with me trying to get me to understand; even trying techniques that weren’t her usual but worked for me! I look forward to attending more of her classes and the BONUS was that we kept everything we used so now I can practice and perfect!

Kiyanna Watley I haven’t trusted anyone in over 10+ years with my hair due to bad experiences I’ve had in the past. Once I met this lovely woman I’ve never been more in love with the care she puts in to her work. Never will I go elsewhere but let her handle my hair needs! Plus she is also the sweetest soul. Just after one hair appointment I feel like we have been girls forever she is SO welcoming and makes you feel nothing but comfortable! She is my absolute favorite !!!

Sanae Taib They over charged me for a haircut. I was told women haircuts are $20 and up, I was thinking my hair would be $25 the most because I have a thin and soft hair and all I needed is some layers and trimming. Ana was the hair stylist she charged me $35. I won’t be back there.

Alondra Cuadra I didn’t get my hair done at the salon but when I first walked in there asking for their price ranges, the lady was really rude and the price was absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t even tell her what I wanted for my hair and she immediately told me that just by looking at my hair, she would charge $25 or more for the basic haircut! I have never been to a non-professional, family-owned hair salon that charges that much here in Ventura County.

Viviana Rivera I had an amazing experience getting my hair trimmed here! The stylist was incredibly kind and attentive, and she did a fantastic job. My hair has never looked this good, and I’m obsessed with the results. Not to mention it was the most affordable price I’ve paid in years. I’m so happy I found this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Daniel González I have been going w/Cathy for the past 4+ yrs. since my previous stylists (Patty & Olga) at this location left unexpectedly, and frankly, I do not regret it. Cathy is the best! I showed her a picture on how I wanted my hair cut and she got it down the first time! I’ve loved my tapers/fades. She is patient, professional, friendly and easy-to-talk to :-). These are the reasons why she is also the stylist for my elderly dad, 2 boys and little girl. I highly recommend Cathy.
