E S I am an overweight person who loves short hair. But finding someone who cuts it short and makes me look cute is hella difficult. But the ladies here made it happen. They also cut my babies hair and styled it, they even gifted her a bow. My husband also got a haircut. The process was fast and the results were amazing! They’ve gained 3 lifetime customers for sure.

Binh Lam amazing haircut, they put a lot of care in washing my hair and blow drying it. They also did great with the curls. Great pricing, super kind as well! Will go back for sure.

Miiss Wendy I’ve been coming to this salon for years, and it’s always been a great experience! The stylists are amazing—super skilled and friendly. They always do a fantastic job with my hair, and they’re great with my kids too. I also love getting my eyebrows and nails done here. Ewan F Great service here. People are friendly and scheduling is very easy. I have been a customer for some time now. Michelle does a great job for haircuts, I have very thick Asian hair and it’s hard to keep in shape, but her technique shapes the hair so well and it’s very easy to maintain. Also the support staff’s technique are wonderful too, the hair washing is always a few minutes of nice treat :)

sara This was my first time at Amber for a haircut. Unfortunately the original stylist I booked with had to leave a few hours before our appointment but the studio was able to keep my appointment with a different stylist, Blake, and he did an amazing job. He took his time and was very detail oriented. I told him it was one of the best haircuts I’ve ever received and it’s true! I love the vibe of the salon. I will definitely be back

Riley listened to what I wanted done for my cut, she asked so many thoughtful questions to make sure we were on the same page, then her execution was spot on. The salon as a whole is beautiful and welcoming. I am looking forward to returning in a few weeks for color (which we also discussed today and made a plan for). So glad I tried Amber Salon.

Bryan I have only this one experience, but the day before my hair was wrecked by another shop. I was frustrated and emotionally fried. I walked in to Ziggy’s immediately made to feel important and my interests and concerns were heard and addressed as expected. I will return. Price was very fair. Also there are some nice shops and restaurants in easy walking distance. Made for a pleasant afternoon. Rescued my weekend!

Gayatri Parmar Very bad experience with them. There is on girl name with chrishlove with whom I had an appointment. Firstly she started with wash then after she started with normal cuts but in that she is not properly divided my hairs in equal parts she doesn’t even know how to start she roughly cuts my hair without any proper way I told her I want bouncy with the more layers but my hair is neither look like what I told her not layer one I don’t know what she did with my hair. My money is wasted my hair is shot still front desk ask me for $80. Added actually if we got what we want we will pay happy $80 as well but when it’s not satisfied then there’s always waste of money. She doesn’t know how to cut hair because I think she is just doing training right now.The way she is cutting my hair. It’s not look like she knows how to do. Crishlove doesn’t know how to even cut the hair with the scissor like in which direction says just cutting with the simple way as anybody can cut. In between I was saying that I want more detailing please two more detailing. Started with the blow dryer and then after again it is cutting my hair in between I don’t know what type of cards is doing. It’s totally worst. I’m not going to visit them again totally wasted.

The work was done professionally, neatly, and with great attention to detail. The salon has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their clients. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality haircut! Daniel Eun My scalp is immaculate now thanks to Jieun. Its cleaner than the board of health. Plus I had pull an Amy Winehouse and make sure my white hairs went back to black. Shawn took care of that with finesse. Would recommend

Danie Love the final color! Ive never been keen on bleaching my hair because of the damaging effects and maintenance, but the final result doesnt feel dry and Julianne was able to go so light while also keeping my roots so it can grow out and keep maintenance low!! She did a great job listening to all my feedback while still choosing a color that looks great with my skin tone. Im so happy!

Ashley Wrye My stylist and colorist are the best people I know. I came in for my appointment crushed because of a personal problem and they both not only listened but honestly brightened my spirit. Sam and Heather are the best. Heather even stayed later to color after I had missed my original appointment time due to aforementioned personal problem. Could not recommend them both or Planet Salon more. Did I mention my hair looks fabulous and I get comments on it daily?

Ashley Minjie I have been going to SALLY for years. She does the BEST perm! Mine has lasted over a year and I have received a lot of compliments and people asking where I got it. This is the person and place! She does a great job giving you what you ask for whether its hair color of perm. If you have a picture reference she does a great job referring to it and adjusting it to make sure it suits your face shape and style. Her energy is always great and the assistants who wash hair are great as well!

Raquel I was in LA for a concert about 2 weeks ago and had time to kill. Was feeling spontaneous and decided to get a haircut with the couple hours I had. I started googling places and all the reviews for this salon were great. I was skeptical at first from the picture of the outside but I called and Julie was able to get me in super fast. She could also quote me over the phone what her starting prices were (which I thought was too good to be true) something that a lot of salons don’t like to disclose until you’re in their chair. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The service came with shampoo and conditioner and the full haircut. Julie was so genuine and you could tell she truly loves her job. She keeps her prices affordable for the average person as myself which I appreciated so much. Please support small businesses like this salon as Julie is the owner and only stylist, it’s hard to keep busy when there’s so many other salons in LA. In the end, I came out loving my haircut and know if I’m in LA and in need of a random haircut again, I will definitely be going back.

allison robbins julie is amazing! i was looking for something local for a trim and was able to get in for a walk in. i have difficult hair and normally have bad experiences with haircuts, but julie gave me the best haircut i’ve had in years. she is incredibly experienced and affordable. 10/10 recommend, will definitely be coming back!

Naomi Lee Hair was left frizzy, she didn’t do a proper trim and she used a horrible smelling oil on my hair. I felt rushed and my hair definitely was not silky when I left … within 2 hours my hair was puffy and frizzy!

Lee Montenegro The experience was definitely memorable but this was the first wash n set and blowout that didn’t last me my normal three week let alone 3 days. There was one point where The owner, I believer was the only one there with like five customers and she was doing an okay job keeping up with all of us. However, it was still a long wait for certain things. The overall environment was nice and inviting. I left there looking gorgeous as Princess Lee. The same day, just a few hours later some frizz but I ignored it and kept it pushing three days later hair all frizzed up so I braided to just have a braid out look. My scalp was so badly burned that my scalp was already flaking. I had to give myself a long hot oil treatment after the fifth day. My overall take is it wasn’t worth how much I paid. I’m from New York and even they were cheaper for their service and they were very careful with their tools and clients. They didn’t book you to come in if they were already overbooked.

I had been dealing with grown out and damaged bleached hair for a while, and he took the time to give me a consultation before scheduling an appointment since what I needed wasn’t simple. I knew from then that my hair was in good hands and the results did not disappoint. Art is also the most friendly person and makes you feel heard and cared for. 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants an outstanding and personable hair stylist!

He took so much time listening to me, making sure I felt comfortable and completely heard. He fixed the work of another salon and made me feel gorgeous, confident and sexy. He’s the first stylist I’ve met who is equally skilled at both haircuts and color. It’s also the first time my curls have been accentuated and nurtured so my natural beauty could shine through. Life is full of surprises and meeting Art has me believing in the good in the world again. Can’t wait til my next visit.

alexis torres Wesley is the best hairstylist in all of LA!!!! came in with dark brown hair wanting to go lighter and add extensions (never had extensions installed before). he first colored my hair to match my extensions and the color turned out great. i absolutely love the way it looks, i keep touching it and flipping my hair it’s so soft. i also received a full makeup glam with Walt to complete the whole look. i looked so beautiful (i know i already am) . They are truly the perfect team. Never going to anyone else!! check them out!!
