P M I came with my hair below shoulder showed picture to stylist and first cut was not even close to what I ask for . Show her pictures again and she was supposed to fix . My hair is really short not even close to style I asked. I am really disappointed .

8Clap Kyle George cut my hair and it looks great! He was quick and thorough and lined me up really well. He’s also funny, which made the time extra enjoyable. I will be back!!

Trisha Villa Great people who work here and 5 star customer service. Very entitled and rude customers that I have seen not tip and yell and be little the hairdressers. These people work their butt off, tipping a good amount is KINDNESS dont dare throw them change. If you want a luxury cut than pay 100 at a salon. Keep doing Amazing. My mom and I will be back for our hair!!

Nidal Aboabdo Horrible experience at this location the person that cut my sons hair shouldnt be working there and seems like this was her first ever hair cutting experience. We sent my 7 year old son here with his grandpa to cut his hair and she completely butchered his hair. She gave him a hair cut that makes him look like he has male pattern baldness with bald patches in the front and back. PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST IM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AT WHAT THEY DID TO MY BOY.

Katrina Skocz This salon is a true hidden gem. Ive never been loyal to any hairstylist until I found Lillian. She is beyond talented, has magic hands for precision cutting, styling and coloring. Have you ever seen a complete stranger in a grocery store with hair that looked so perfect that you couldnt help but ask who was her hairdresser?? Thats what happened to me (had never done it before!) and thats how I met Lillian. I even brought my two teenagers to her, including my 14 year old very picky son whom Ive never seen so pleased with the haircut before! Lillian is not only extraordinarily talented, she is also a beautiful soul with sweetest personality. Her prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of her work. All the other hairstylists at 2nd Ave Salon are great, very friendly and welcoming. The place has a relaxing, bohemian vibe. Highly recommended!

Roland Super sexist apparently if you are a guy you cant go dance if you are alone even if you want to only dance since "it might be offensive to the girls dancing". So basically unless you are with a girl you are not able to dance which is all that I wanted to do so this bar sucks

Maria Gonzalez Very nice lady, but didnt get what I wanted in a haircut and didnt get the excess hair off my back and clothes. I asked if she had a brush or something to get rid of the small hair all over me, she handed me a paper towel.

Julia Sandoval I stopped in to try new beauty salon. I asked about pricing no response. They had no woman only 3 men. The 2 woman cutting hair did not try to help the have no customer service skills at all. No air conditioning the store is in back of strip mall. My impression of this store was horrible Im not trying out this place. If you cant say hello to customers coming into your business for first time. Impressions Run away save your money go elsewhere. I would give this location -99. Bad service lack of knowledge regarding customer service.

Dinora Arias Went for a haircut and the person was very polite and welcoming thats why Im giving it 2 stars. However her work was not the best to my standards Im only rating based on my personal experience. The haircut was done on dry hair, I personally like my hair being wet for a haircut but I let her continue bc Id figure she was the professional and knew what she was doing, at the end I came home took a shower and sure enough my hair was longer from one side and shorter from the other. Also it was not texturized or style in any way, I dont mind paying a little extra but it was never even offered to me to have it styled. Most of the time when I get a haircut at my regular spot they texturize and style it to see if the haircut came out how its supposed to be. Over all I was pleased with the way they assist you, just not pleased with the end result of their work on my hair. P.s. I didnt go back to get it "fixed" bc I am afraid that they will leave my hair even shorter and still uneven, at this point I rather make the 30 min drive to my regular place.

Makayla Nelson I live out of state but I will absolutely continue to come here when Im in the area! Yazil was able to get me in super last minute AND before closing to fix my damaged, uneven hair after I thought it was a good idea to try and cut it myself (just dont). She washed, evened out, and was even able to give me some bangs and layers. So pleased with how everything turned out. The salon is super cute, comfortable atmosphere and the price was so affordable! Highly recommend this place, I cant wait to be back!

Sarah Murphy Ive been going to Yazil for over 12 years. She owns the salon and is amazing. Through the years Ive gotten to know many of the other stylists who work at the salon and everyone always produces such great hair! I love seeing the finished product on the other clients while my color is processing. Im loyal to Yazil but everyone at this salon is amazing. Of course Im biased so ask for Yazil but if shes not available youre in great hands with literally anyone else who works there. Hope yall have a great hair day like I do every time!

Jazmin Porter Took my girls and myself to get a haircut here. You get what you pay for. My hair is uneven. Asked the lady to do butterfly haircut long layers and she chopped off my hair. One side is way shorter than the other side. :( They are nice though. Go at your own risk. The older lady cut my hair and my daughter’s hair.

Mary S Made an appointment the day before 11/7/19 for 12pm the next day, with (Mrs.Alva)for both a hair dye and highlights. It was for my mother. It was her birthday present, she had been waiting for a while. we arrived at 11:45am, and we waited till 12:55pm and no one had her number or contact information. Till another costumer had it by chance we called, and no answer texted and finally said “I can’t make it sorry” Over all the other lady who was working said she would at least do the hair cut. That was very nice and considerate since she had to leave because she doesn’t stay all day. The establishment is clean organized and had many things to offer as long as the workers show up on time to meet the appointments lined up for that day.

Kassandra Caceres I tried to do highlights at home and totally messed up my hair but I went to Alba and she saved my hair!! She did beautiful highlights and on top of it she is such a sweet lady, I’ve already gone back once to do a touch up on them and once again it came out beautiful. Good prices as well!!

Ag Ramirez Called this place to ask if they cut kids hair and the lady tells me theyre busy right now and they cant do it. I then asked how much do they charge and she said didnt you call this morning and you have two kids. I told her I never called before that I only have one kid and she hanged up on me. Wow, what a customer service. By just a phone call you can already tell what kind of service they provide.

Val Montecino Susy the owner operator was very rude when I asked if my Grandaughters hair was cut in layers or straight since I noticed some ragged ends and was told by Susy to not complain and if I didnt like the cut to take her somewhere else. I had already paid her $35.00 for the cut with a $5.00 tip, I will never recommend nor return to that salon.

Katherine Hayes This place is okay just DO NOT get your eyebrows done by Vinni. Shes an older lady. This is my 2nd time getting her and she does not Do a good job. Last time she really messed up my eyebrows and she was the only one there available again today so I decided on giving her another try. She does them painful. She goes too fast. My eyebrows are crooked and theyre just not even. Horrible. When you go make sure its Niti she does a much better job, theyre even and shes MUCH nicer.
