Dru 24 hour fitness has started to fix this gym! Just need to replace the missing free weights and plates and replace the toilets and urinals and it will be a 5 star 24 hour fitness! The sauna is great. The steam room is good. The Jacuzzi is nice and they have a swimming pool and it’s real close to the freeway and come check it out. Maybe you guys can even change this one to 24 hours :-)

Joshua Hoover Nicholas yoga classes are the best! Monday 11 am / Wednesday 11 am! I am hooked. The time he takes in each pose really opens the muscles and the breath work increases the flexibility. The flow classes Ive been to with Tiffany, Michelle, Debbie are also great! But Nicholas class works for my stretching / body more than any other class Ive ever been to. Thank you Nicholas for your work!!

JULIA SIN This gym has everything you need, clean equipment, saunas, cold plunges, Normatech recovery, and InBody scans. They really have your fitness needs covered. My fiancé and I have been working with Brandon and Kevin for about two months, and we’re already seeing improvements in our mobility, strength, and eating habits. From day one, Brandon has been attentive — he listened to our goals and helped us create realistic changes we can actually stick to. Kevin makes every session challenging but super supportive. He’s great at teaching proper form and helping us engage the right muscles, which has boosted both our progress and our confidence in the gym.

Alan Liu I did a free trial and it was great. That was my first ever personal training session, so the review might be biased. Jae asked my goals and then set my expectations on what muscles to focus on as a beginner. I think he’s knowledgeable about human bodies, as he was able to adjust my positions but more importantly explain why. I like how they end each session with a message. Overall, this gym has a pleasant atmosphere, and trainers are attentive. Free parking is a plus (at least during weekday lunch time).

Sharon Suhr I absolutely loved my previous boxing gym but had to switch after moving to the eastside...& man, I am so grateful to have found a new home/community at Backyard. All the coaches are highly-skilled, encouraging, & able to adapt to any background in mixed-level classes. Recently, I started going to the non-boxing classes (glutes, core/pilates) as well & feel that I am getting a really well-rounded routine, adding in more strength training. Everyone is so friendly & its truly an inclusive space; youll see folks of all fitness levels, body types, and gender identities/expressions here!

Jon Vasquez Been going to this gym for more than two years now. Used to be better when it was 24 hours but does have all lot of positives. Gym is clean and there team member Anthony is awesome. Very helpful when it comes to gym advice and also very eager to help you out in fhe front desk in case anything is needed. Great Customer service overall. Recommend.

Timothy Obis I’ve been coming here for years. It’s very clean, the staff is friendly, they have most equipment I need, and an indoor pool and sauna which I love. That being said, it’s cramped, it’s small, there’s not enough room for as many people go there at peak hours. Another thing that I don’t like is since covid they changed the hours so that it closes at 8 pm, it’s closed for 3 hours in the middle of the day and it’s closed weekends. There is no reason to keep the hours like this from what I see! Overall I like the gym, but please change back the hours

Peter Le Honestly, they really care about your goals and are willing to help you achieve it. I was at a low point in my life with my mental and physical health. Working out with Karl has helped me rediscover the joys of fitness and has given me so much more. He really gets down to the basics of how your body works and moves and implements workouts on strengthening your weak points without overdoing it. It is not a fast process but as you go consistently you’ll definitely see the improvements in your fitness and mobility. Definitely would recommend anyone to train here.
