Ottilie Hall: If you want a hard core work out... this is the place. Great times, friendly participants and coaches!!!
Backyard Fitness - Crossfit, Boxing, Olympic Weight-lifting - Los Angeles
Sharon Suhr: I absolutely loved my previous boxing gym but had to switch after moving to the eastside...& man, I am so grateful to have found a new home/community at Backyard. All the coaches are highly-skilled, encouraging, & able to adapt to any background in mixed-level classes. Recently, I started going to the non-boxing classes (glutes, core/pilates) as well & feel that I am getting a really well-rounded routine, adding in more strength training. Everyone is so friendly & its truly an inclusive space; youll see folks of all fitness levels, body types, and gender identities/expressions here!

angie R: I’m so grateful to be training with JC again. He helped me transform my body and mindset years ago, and after five years away, coming back to him feels like coming home. His support, patience, and dedication haven’t changed one bit. What I appreciate most is that he doesn’t just focus on the physical side — he helps me get into the right mindset, stay motivated, and believe in myself again. He knows exactly how to challenge me without pushing me too far, and he always meets me where I’m at. He genuinely cares about my progress and celebrates every win, big or small. I can already feel myself getting stronger, more confident, and more focused on my goals thanks to him. If you’re looking for someone who truly invests in your success and brings out the best in you, I can’t recommend JC enough. Excited for what we’re going to achieve next.

Joshua Hoover: Nicholas yoga classes are the best! Monday 11 am / Wednesday 11 am! I am hooked. The time he takes in each pose really opens the muscles and the breath work increases the flexibility. The flow classes Ive been to with Tiffany, Michelle, Debbie are also great! But Nicholas class works for my stretching / body more than any other class Ive ever been to. Thank you Nicholas for your work!!

Nadiia Buravskaia: Highly recommend to visit! This place has great machines, especially, for lower body!
Aroma Spa & Sports LLC - Los Angeles
O.: We were told by a rude guy that we can enter only if we buy a pass for 400 dollar for each of us. Obviously we decided to go to another place. But I have a feeling this was not honest. This person was VERY unfriendly and pretentious. Too bad - if the place was nice I would have booked these pass… Their loss.
HSC Fitness Center - Los Angeles
Victoria Hairston: this is the BEST gym!!! So peaceful and very clean, and the staff is very friendly, the manager is doing a great job! I look forward to my workouts here :)
    Anytime Fitness - Culver City
Chad Schalkle: The facility is nice, just small. Beware, their monthly contract is actually a yearly contract which you have to pay off in full in order to cancel. No mention is made of this when you sign up in person, which would require you to to read their sign-up documents fully in-person as you have no option to sign up online.
    Optimus Fitness - Los Angeles
Elaine Jones: My favorite place cool people great place to workout!

O Ilya (Ilya): Quite possibly the worst gym in the area and has been for a number of years. Ive been to all the LA fitness gyms in the area and the managers definitely dont care about the quality of the gym. No one ever puts the weights back, and no one has ever said anything. I guess everyone is too weak from not working out and taking Instagram videos about how they are in the gym not working out. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, and you might leave dirtier than you came. The sauna looks like its going to cave in on you and smells like sweaty balls. People hang their shirts on the heater and walk in with shoes. The Marina Del ray LA fitness strictly enforces no shirts and shoes as does others. Someone needs to tech some sauna etiquette. Most of the equipment Is falling apart and sometimes you even need to bring your own because theres not enough things such a pull down bars. Most of the equipment is rusted and feels like youre in a prison. Oh and dont go during any hours because you will literally be waiting for hours to use the machines. Except for Sunday, when everyone is at church praying that all of this will get resolved. So not counting all those things, its quite an exceptional gym and almost as nice as the nice ones.
