O Ilya (Ilya): Quite possibly the worst gym in the area and has been for a number of years. Ive been to all the LA fitness gyms in the area and the managers definitely dont care about the quality of the gym. No one ever puts the weights back, and no one has ever said anything. I guess everyone is too weak from not working out and taking Instagram videos about how they are in the gym not working out. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, and you might leave dirtier than you came. The sauna looks like its going to cave in on you and smells like sweaty balls. People hang their shirts on the heater and walk in with shoes. The Marina Del ray LA fitness strictly enforces no shirts and shoes as does others. Someone needs to tech some sauna etiquette. Most of the equipment Is falling apart and sometimes you even need to bring your own because theres not enough things such a pull down bars. Most of the equipment is rusted and feels like youre in a prison. Oh and dont go during any hours because you will literally be waiting for hours to use the machines. Except for Sunday, when everyone is at church praying that all of this will get resolved. So not counting all those things, its quite an exceptional gym and almost as nice as the nice ones.
My Gym Koreatown - Los Angeles
Debra Quach: Our daughter loves mygym. You can tell the owner loves kids and the coaches are friendly. Parking during the day is a bit tight, but we live in LA - nothing new here.
Lyon Recreation Center - Los Angeles
劉品辰: Free gym for USC students, has a lot of decent facilities and water stations with great water quality. But it’s just too crowded all day long, kind of annoying to walk around for minutes just to find an empty spot you want.
    Hollywood Gym - Los Angeles
Rodney West: I love this gym so much. It opens up at 6 am when I normally train. Its not like those other gyms that everybody needs to show off. It reminds me of a Powerhouse gym or a Golds gym. Check this place out its amazing
Equinox Miracle Mile - Los Angeles
J W: This location is huge! Very good lighting, spacious, good air circulation, clean, and the men’s bathroom looks like a spa room. I had a great shower there after working out! No time limit for parking in the weekend:) it means you can take your time and have a long workout session, sauna & shower routine in the weekend i love that!
    Planet Fitness - Long Beach
Suzana S: Its so easy to get in and out of this gym. The equipment counts the reps and time, and then rest time. That is so helpful! Last week I noticed a leg machine needed re-covering and some treadmills were not resetting properly. When I came in this week, all of these issues were resolved. I love that attention to detail, and I know I do not even need to point out these issues, the employees are on it. WTG Planet Fitness DTLB! Great space, great amenities, great music.
The Belmont Athletic Club - Long Beach
Eugene Varricchio: Love the club. The staff are genuinely friendly and always ready to help - whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned gym, Goa, there’s always something appropriate for everyone. The club itself is beautifully laid out across three levels with dedicated spaces for weights, cardio, group studios and racquetball courts plus full locker room and amenities, including steam sauna and Jacuzzi. Would highly recommend it

Keon Hite: My sister goes to la fitness - not this location - but i was in town and needed a gym and decided to try it out. Most of the women at the front desk were dry and unwelcoming. The lady who they made me go see for my guest pass i already secured online charged me $20 bucks just because I am from a different state. I paid her cash, she did not offer me a receipt until I came back and asked her for one (i honestly think she pocketed it - just the vibe i get when you ask for money in a business and dont offer a receipt). To make a receipt she handwrote some messy bullshit like “paid - $20”. I wont go into detail about the class but for the most part it was good and I was content - not ideal (so much equipments that were not provided by the gym which made the experience less enjoyable but thanks to the positive energy of the instructor which made up for it).
    Anytime Fitness - Long Beach
Jordan Erling: Ive worked out at this gym for about 18 months and Ive got nothing but good things to say about it. I never have any issues parking, plus having a grocery story within walking distance was a big selling point for me. The equipment is all practically new and the gym has a very cool modern vibe to it. The manager David is great as well as the trainers, especially Marco. Definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for a new gym!
    Iconix Fitness - Long Beach
Cody Umbel: Ive been going to Iconix Gym for six years now, and honestly, its one of the main reasons Ive stayed in Long Beach. Where else can you get a solid workout steps from the beach with a laid-back, SoCal vibe? The equipment is decent—not the newest, but it covers everything you need. The outdoor setup, ocean breeze, and welcoming community make it a truly unique place to train. If youre thinking about working with a trainer, Paul K. is the real deal. He brings the perfect balance of intensity and motivation, always tailoring the workout to push your limits while keeping it engaging. Highly recommend training with him if youre serious about results. Iconix is more than a gym—its a reason to stick around Long Beach.
