J W This location is huge! Very good lighting, spacious, good air circulation, clean, and the men’s bathroom looks like a spa room. I had a great shower there after working out! No time limit for parking in the weekend:) it means you can take your time and have a long workout session, sauna & shower routine in the weekend i love that!

Larry Baird Best kept secret in central LA! Convenient to Culver City, Whole Foods, Baldwin Hills, West Adams - and the metro E line train. Friendly staff and clientele - with new equipment and plenty of it! Always immaculately clean, high-end locker/shower/dry sauna areas. Most importantly, you are never waiting for machines or equipment.

John Reding I hate fitness classes. Like, really. So I just took the plunge and decided to do PlyoFitness for six weeks. This place is different. Steve has a wonderful way of actually making exercise fun. Hes created an environment with social support in a non-judgemental format, thats challenging for both the daily walker to pro bodybuilder. I still hate fitness classes, but I love PlyoFitness.

Rodney West I love this gym so much. It opens up at 6 am when I normally train. Its not like those other gyms that everybody needs to show off. It reminds me of a Powerhouse gym or a Golds gym. Check this place out its amazing

justme108 Nice space with all you could ask for in a gym (classes, machines, plenty of free weights). Pricing is reasonable with no year long contracts. Parking is easy. Mens bathroom is passable from a cleanliness standpoint, but is one of the bigger opportunity areas for improvement.

Jodi-Ann Pettigrue My friend and I visited the Hollywood Signature location while in from Toronto, and the experience was exceptional. CD went above and beyond to welcome us, even inviting us to try our first Reformer Pilates class since it’s not offered at our home gym. He recommended Liz’s class — and we’re so glad he did. Liz was warm, patient, and incredibly encouraging, making our first class unforgettable. We loved it so much we came back for a second session before leaving LA. Huge thanks to CD and Liz for making our visit such a highlight. Highly recommend this location to anyone visiting!

Erik Gharibian I met Henry about 2 years ago when he joined as one of the athletic coach’s at Burbank High school. From the first day he’s always been full of great and positive energy training our players and offered to train me as well. I’ve been training with Henry for 2 years now working on speed, agility strength and have learned and seen massive improvements. As a soccer player I never really went to the gym and thought it was a waste of time but Henry has taught me the importance of off the field work, how to fuel my body, and most importantly take care of my body. He’s positive energy and motivation has kept me pushing and wanting to train more with him. He always pushes me to reach my maximum potential and he truly is the best trainers out there.

Satoru Gojō This gym location isn’t bad at all they have great section of kettlebells and a nice section for you to stretch. I’m pretty upset about the hours but I respect it. There will be a new hour change for those who used to go there at midnight.

Daniel Amaro First time to this location, had business to attend and decided to workout nearby. I was hesitant at first, after reading so many negative reviews. This LAFITNESS location did not disappoint, multiple layers of workout space, they have plenty of machines and free weights; all working. The locker room, bathrooms and showers were very clean. The entire staff was friendly and on top of things for what I saw. Also the people working out was cool and handling workout business. Parking structure seen safe and clean, walking security at all times. Validation inside the LAFitness front desk. Overall excellent gym and recommend! I’ll probably be back, had a good workout.

Paul Bellezza Ive been going to Surfcore Fitness for about two years now, and its hard to overstate what this community has meant to me. Ive been to a lot of gyms in LA over the years and was used to working out alone -- but I realized I missed having people to share the journey with. I came to Surfcore at a point in my life when I knew I needed to make some real changes to my health, and Carlos and Jose were so supportive and encouraging. After my first year, I got a clean bill of health from my doctor, and they genuinely celebrated that with me. Through the six-week challenges and all the day-to-day workouts, Ive learned how to better balance my eating, my fitness, and my mindset. The workouts are tough but fun, and the people are what make it special. Its supportive, hilarious, and full of good energy. Ive made real friends here -- something thats hard to do as an adult in L.A. And honestly, I really appreciate talking both workout shop and sharing the latest tea at Diva Fridays. Sadly, I had to move out of the area and I really miss my routine with the crew. Surfcore had become my third space -- a place between work and home where I felt grounded and be supported by friendly folk. Truly one of a kind.
