I love the customization of my workouts and have had amazing results! We have a great community here and I have made so many friends! I am so happy to have this gym in my life! I could have never achieved the results I have had so far without them! Their knowledge and nutrition advice is a big part of it, but their motivation, encouragement and personal touch is what really helped me reach my goals!

    Eric Markaryan: I have been coming to the USA Gym for 5 years. The staff and owner are super friendly, always greeting me like I’m part of their family. The gym is super convenient with their hours, allowing me to work out at anytime with my mixed work schedule. The gym constantly has maintenance workers that keep the gym clean, and organized. I look forward everyday to my workout because of this gym.

    Image Wars: I’m extremely disappointed with how this gym continues to impact our neighborhood. Rather than providing adequate parking for their members, they’ve turned the public park’s limited parking across the street into their unofficial overflow lot. This pushes out local families, blocks access, increases traffic near children, and creates unnecessary safety risks. Last weekend was a perfect example. Families attending a youth soccer tournament couldn’t find parking because gym members had filled up the park’s lot. Parents were forced to park farther away and walk with kids and equipment. One parent even saw a handicap space being taken by an individual that immediately went across the street to the gym. We have been collecting video of these people doing this and not using the park so hopefully action can be taken. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of sensitivity toward the community that actually lives here. This park is a central space for our largely Hispanic neighborhood, yet it’s being overwhelmed by mostly white gym members who are encouraged to treat it like their private facility’s parking extension. It feels like another example of outside businesses benefiting at the expense of the culture and people who call this area home. Public parks should serve the surrounding residents first — not be absorbed by private profit. I hope management steps up, takes responsibility, and respects the community they’re operating in. Until they do, it’s hard to support a business that refuses to respect the neighborhood around it.

    Arin Shakhmalian: Im really looking forward to the opening of Maestro Migran gym! From what Ive seen and heard, it’s going to be a top-tier fitness center with modern equipment, professional trainers, and a great atmosphere. It’s clear that a lot of thought and passion has gone into creating a space where people of all levels can feel motivated and supported. Can’t wait to start training here

    Anh Tran: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We tried Legacy BJJ after a colleague recommended it, and it’s been amazing! Our 4-year-old son, Paxton, is usually shy, but the coach helped him come out of his shell and made him feel comfortable by the end of his very first class. He’s now in the Tiny Champs program, on his second week, and absolutely loving it! We love watching him learn and gain confidence each class. 10/10 recommend!

    Sebastian: Ive been training at DEFCON Athletics for a few months now, and I have to say, its been an incredible experience. Vaz, the head coach, is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable and motivating trainers Ive ever worked with. He really takes the time to understand your fitness goals and tailors workouts to help you achieve them. The gym itself is well-equipped with everything you need for strength, conditioning, and functional training. What really sets DA apart is the community vibe—everyone is super supportive, and Vaz fosters an environment where youre constantly pushing yourself but also having fun. Whether youre looking to get in shape, improve athletic performance, or just need that extra push to stay motivated, Defcon is the place to be. I’ve seen real results and couldn’t be happier with my progress!

    Abe: Overall good gym. However sanitation in the bathrooms need improvement. The urinal grounds loo like mopping isnt doing it and need some deep cleaning. Smells like pee anyway of the week. Need some stronger sanitation products. With that fixed I think this gym is a gem in Madera.

    Justen Finch: A wonderful gym! I had to make a last minute trip to Coursegold due to a family emergency. I was able to do a drop in for a few days and get my workouts in. Fantastic gym with rolling gates and fresh air! I was also given full access with my drop in fee and that included a red light sauna that really added to the experience. Staff was friendly and responded to my email within a few hours. Next time I travel to see my family, Ill be stopping by thegym41 as much as possible.
