Jess Shanks This church is phenomenal. I do not feel that they push religion on you. The members do let you know about the Lord but they do not try to force it down so that you attend. The members are wonderful and I was delighted to learn about all the church has to offer. From church services to school to food pantry for the needy and more. Juan Torres I truly believe God led me to Shelter Cove. From the moment we walked in, the love, kindness, and warmth from everyone here has been overwhelming in the best way. Worshipping at this church has been an amazing experience, and I’m beyond thankful that not only I, but my whole family, had the opportunity to be baptized here, it’s a moment we’ll cherish forever. Shelter Cove offers so many incredible programs that truly meet you wherever you are in life whether you’re looking for spiritual growth, healing, community, or support. One of the biggest blessings for our family has been their care for children with special needs. My son has autism, and it’s been such a gift to have a place where he is welcomed, understood, and cared for. Thanks to their babysitting classes, including for kids with special needs, I can attend the full service with peace of mind, knowing he’s in good hands. I’m beyond grateful for this church and for the pastors, the volunteers, and every person who makes this place feel like home. Thank you, Shelter Cove, for allowing us to find peace, purpose, and God’s love within your walls.

Zachary Zylstra Ive been going to this church since I was a kid, and they have always been consistent and faithful in teaching the Bible every Sunday. They have a great young adults ministry that meets on Thursday evenings for adults 18-28 years old. There is always worship, Bible study, and fellowship with many other people my age. Definitely recommend if you are college age and looking for a Christian fellowship to get plugged in to.

Quentin Wall You will feel welcome and know that Jesus is in this place. A small congregation with big harts. I love bringing my family here. The pastors always have a message that touches my spirit . Worship here is always awesome to be a part of.

Angelina M Child care was really odd for us. My son is special needs, not poorly behaved or hard to deal with. He is very kind, easy to work with and just struggles to communicate. They were very odd about it and we totally felt like he was a problem for them. I wouldn’t come back solely on this experience.

We have enjoyed Pastor Mark’s gentle teaching, the genuine worship service, and the active youth programs throughout our years here.

Sarah Snyder Even for many years before I decided to make Celebration Center my home church, I admired how involved they were in serving the community, how welcoming they were to everyone who came through the doors, and how committed they were to preaching the Word, prayer, and most importantly seeing people come to know Jesus! Pastors Mark and Nicole are as real as they come and their hearts for Jesus and for the city of Modesto is evident. For anyone looking for a great home church or just passing through the Central Valley and need somewhere to visit, I highly recommend!

Akasha Godloves Tonight is movie. Having nachos. And its is great. Gotta come check it out. Lots of great activities for everyone here. Blast for kids and Mops for mothers and the men have a group also. Been coming here for years. Great food and good community company. Check the website out.

Ronsgonefishing Gonefishing The paster jim preaches on booze other than the lord .an if you ask him to quit you are ask to leave an not come back i couldnt find the lord there at all hes been kicked out of his own house.so sad there an theres . No leadership if they dont even tell him to stop means there ok with it no matter how many saints he stumbles.

k. w. Ive lived in Modesto for the past several years. Ive attend various churches in the city and other places in California. Life Connection Church is different than any other place of worship Ive been a part of. Pastor Stuart is an excellent preacher and teacher of the word. His wife is down to earth and very approachable and relatable. The members are various ages and ethnic groups just as it should be, a replica of heaven. If you need a house of worship to minister to you and your family and people to do life with, then join us every Sunday at 9:30am!!
