3 /5 Thida Yang: I was very disappointed in this church. A friend and I went for the first time two weeks ago and passed by several people who I presume were greeters- posted near and opening doors- and also several different pairs/ groups of men near the cafe/ bathroom once most people had filed in, so the hallways were empty except for them, and was not greeted by one single person. The message itself was well received, but we did not feel welcomed or included. My friend, who is blonde/ blue-eyed, fit right in demographically, I definitely felt out of place. I know these mini mega churches aspire to be the local Hillsong or what have you, but I left feeling unimpressed overall and will not be returning unless its to join a friend who asks. The stage production with raised cameramen, etc, made worship feel more like a dog and pony show than worship. You can definitely tell who the "stars" of this church are. Overall, if you like a huge production and want to just have somewhere to worship and maybe just fade into the crowd, this is it. For me, this place lacked a sense of sincerity, and its a hard pass.
