Jess Shanks This church is phenomenal. I do not feel that they push religion on you. The members do let you know about the Lord but they do not try to force it down so that you attend. The members are wonderful and I was delighted to learn about all the church has to offer. From church services to school to food pantry for the needy and more. I want to thank you for opening my eyes to new beginnings. Thank you

Sa mmy This is a great church. There is a wonderful worship band and a great pastor. There are two balconies, another building, and online streaming for the service. It has youth groups that are divided for all wake through life and groups for adults that can help with anything you could possibly be going through.

Juan Torres I truly believe God led me to Shelter Cove. From the moment we walked in, the love, kindness, and warmth from everyone here has been overwhelming in the best way. Worshipping at this church has been an amazing experience, and I’m beyond thankful that not only I, but my whole family, had the opportunity to be baptized here, it’s a moment we’ll cherish forever. Shelter Cove offers so many incredible programs that truly meet you wherever you are in life whether you’re looking for spiritual growth, healing, community, or support. One of the biggest blessings for our family has been their care for children with special needs. My son has autism, and it’s been such a gift to have a place where he is welcomed, understood, and cared for. Thanks to their babysitting classes, including for kids with special needs, I can attend the full service with peace of mind, knowing he’s in good hands. I’m beyond grateful for this church and for the pastors, the volunteers, and every person who makes this place feel like home. Thank you, Shelter Cove, for allowing us to find peace, purpose, and God’s love within your walls.

Robert Harris $$$$&$ several sundays in a row the whole service is about begging for "15 million dollars" they indicated this whole season will be about asking for tithes and why you should hate your money n give it to them lol $$$$$$$ these people make me sick and give christians a horrible name.. no holy spirit here it is a false church. Jesus would be turning over tables and rebuking leadership.

Zachary Zylstra Ive been going to this church since I was a kid, and they have always been consistent and faithful in teaching the Bible every Sunday. They have a great young adults ministry that meets on Thursday evenings for adults 18-28 years old. There is always worship, Bible study, and fellowship with many other people my age. Definitely recommend if you are college age and looking for a Christian fellowship to get plugged in to.

Gabriel Padilla This is our first time VBS and with a LOUD Thanks to Pastor Mark and all the staff!!! I’m an overprotective Dad that doesn’t allow my children to do things away from me or mom. With full confidence my children gathered to VBS the Praying the Singing all of the Activities and my 2 kids attending want to be more closer to GOD !!! Thank You so very much for this Amazing Program we look forward to next year!! Praise Be To GOD we came here… by GODS WILL !!!!

Quentin Wall You will feel welcome and know that Jesus is in this place. A small congregation with big harts. I love bringing my family here. The pastors always have a message that touches my spirit . Worship here is always awesome to be a part of.

Joshuah Jones After many years wrestling with faith, I finally gave in and allowed God to humble me. I began researching the churches around my neighborhood and around town, Im not talking down on them, but none of their pastors presented their messages the way Seth does at The Well. He presents the good word on a very human level, forming a real connection to the scriptures and a beautiful study into the word of God to help us grow in our own relationship with Jesus. I highly recommend The Well, their entire community has welcomed me since day one, come join us and see for yourself, we are on YouTube as well if youre like me and kind of nervous about going back to church after decades of turning my back to God, check out their past services and see for yourself.

Angelina M Child care was really odd for us. My son is special needs, not poorly behaved or hard to deal with. He is very kind, easy to work with and just struggles to communicate. They were very odd about it and we totally felt like he was a problem for them. I wouldn’t come back solely on this experience.

We have enjoyed Pastor Mark’s gentle teaching, the genuine worship service, and the active youth programs throughout our years here.

Grambo They have a great Christmas program each year with a great orchestra and choir lead by the talented Pastor Joey Coray , next spring they will have a musical put on by middle school and high school and some elementary school students. Its always fabulous.

Pastors Mark and Nicole are as real as they come and their hearts for Jesus and for the city of Modesto is evident. For anyone looking for a great home church or just passing through the Central Valley and need somewhere to visit, I highly recommend!
