2 /5 Kevin McClarty: I have many issues with this parish going back several years. First there was the special confession time for anyone who voted for a Democrat over 10 years ago when Fr. Ilo was Pastor. I thought that churches are supposed to stay out of politics! Then more recently I attended the classes for the Carlo Acutis celebration week. I singed up for the discussion panel but never got notified when it was. When I called them, they said that it already had taken place. They claimed that they had not contacted me because they could not read my email address. However, the parish has had my contact information for decades. The lady promised that she would include me in the next discussion panel but I never heard from her. Then there was the time that my friend and I wanted to do volunteer work for the church..My friend is a 3rd Order Franciscan and I am a graduate of a Christian Brothers College..We were both told that the only thing we were qualified to volunteer for was to serve food at one of their buffet luncheons! Then there was the time that I volunteered to help with the musical chairs at a church carnival..I got there on time, signed in and got my name tag and shirt. When I approached the woman running the musical chairs, she complained loudly, "Why are they sending me more volunteers? I already have enough volunteers!"
