Old St. Stanislaus Catholic Church - Modesto (CA)

5 /5 Claudia Newcorn: Beautiful. Historic. Old fashioned in that it is quietly understated in it statuary and stained glass windows yet replete with a feeling of kindness and compassion associated with older church buildings. So calming!

4 /5 louis Moran: This is one of the oldest Churches here in Modesto. The place is well kept, and comfortable. They have different mass times and in different languages. As far as I know they have Spanish and English but I would not be surprised if they have portugués mass too. The only down fall is the bathroom which is out side of the church in a totally different building. If you want to visit a true jewel of Modesto, you should stop by this church. As for me I hope I see you around.

5 /5 Ingrid Mello: I heard rumors that it may be condemned. Afraid Modesto will lose another iconic building. After Easter 2024, if you want to see the inside again make an appointment with the office or attend a Mass. The new (Maze Ave)church will finish renovations in July.

5 /5 B HarTz: Visited here in 11/23 and was a great mass. Mask is optional and I prefer to still wear a mask. I prefer this Church on a Sat or weekday then any other church. Welcoming and friendly and many Mass times to visit and give an hour of your time to the Great ONE!
