shauntyana corona: Just left the salon with my daughter and my nails are horrible its supposed to be just a basic pink and white. First I made an appointment days ago for 9:30 a.m. when I got there only one nail tech was there. I called ahead of time and asked if they had a certain tip of nail and they said they did and it would be $70. When I got there they said they didnt have that tip because they dont use it often enough and tried to create the tip but I just opted to get square because I wanted the actual tip and not have the nail built with acrylic. They said that my daughters would be $70 with a design and at the end it was $90 for her nails. Im a local and I will never return here because they cant even be honest about their prices from the beginning or about the nail services that they actually offer. So I left unhappy and didnt want to make a scene because they had a full overbooked salon.
Im editing my review to reply to the so-called nail tech that did my nails. We did not get extra long nails we came there at our appointment time and your salon was open already. My daughter got one nail with a design in acrylic flower and she has short nails as do i. The nails are uneven on both of my nails some are thick some are not I will upload a picture and I will also let everyone know to never come to your nail shop. Youre unprofessional and your work is shoddy at best. And to answer your question yes I have been to many salons around town and yours is by far the worst.
J.R. Twomey Beeson: I’m surprised this place doesn’t haven’t more reviews! I just left and will definitely be back whenever I’m back in town. I was able to get in as a walk in with a short wait, and I had a lovely experience! The place is clean and they offer water/tea/wine. They had a nice selection for gel and plenty of regular polish, the staff all seemed very pleasant, and I left very satisfied with my gel manicure. They seem to have regulars who they are thoughtful and friendly with, which is a good sign to me!
Katie Randall: I came in for a pedicure after taking a few months of taking a break from this salon because it’s so chaotic every time I come in. While in here today the owners started screaming at a poor woman who was here working from another country just trying to make money for her family. I have never seen anything like this. Employees walked out and were crying stopped doing peoples nails mid manicures. I will never give the owners my business again. This isn’t the first I’ve heard of how they treat their employees and why they go through so many employees. I hope that poor woman can find something better for employment. I have never seen anything so unprofessional and so uncomfortable in my life and I’ve been going to salons for 15 years up here
Maya Krupa: Love the Y Nail Spa! I’ve tried a ton of nail salons in Tahoe and this is by far my favorite
Nancy is so sweet, gentle on your nails and detail oriented. My nails last forever and always feel / look natural - there’s no uneven edges or weird spots. I get a ton of complements - she has a bunch of unique colors/styles to choose from
Yes there is a $25 deposit and only makes appts a day or so in advance, that’s fine for me. Prices are fair. Finally found my go to nail spot!
Julie Midori: Loved the service and my nails! Super friendly and kind staff. My friend and I came in with no appointment and there was only one person and she asked if we would be ok waiting and she made us comfortable, sat us on the massage chair and treated us well.
My nails turned out beautiful! She was so focused and precise, I would really recommend this place!
Katie Jenn: They have high quality skincare products!

So many options and the ladies working there have plenty of knowledge!
RB: Elements Day Spa is a premier full service day spa nestled on the shores of South Lake Tahoe. They specialize in stone therapy, sports massage, Swedish massages, Reiki energy, CBD infused treatments, eyelash extensions, clinical skin care treatments, full body waxing, couples treatments, and much more! I visited Elements Day Spa for the first time the other day for a couples massage and it was fantastic! Now, I’ll be honest, Elements Day Spa is fairly deceptive from the outside, because it’s a part of a hotel. There is a small sign on the outside of the log cabin based hotel that says, “Elements Day Spa,” on the second (2nd) floor. One of the most wonderful components of Elements Day Spa is that it a water front spa. There is a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe from roughly every massage / spa room. Imagine being massaged and having a beautiful scenery outside of the window. Another cool feature is that if you check in on Yelp, you’ll receive $5 off any service. Now I must say, Elements is expensive, but, every little but helps. The couples massage was AMAZING! I was experiencing shoulder pain and after my massage, it was gone. This is definitely a place worth visiting if you want to relax.
